Today, Thanksgiving, our family ate at the Thanksgiving Buffet in the Ballroom. The service was outstanding!!! The food was delicious!! Amanda, our waitress did everything she could to make it a warm , friendly experience. Debra and others also helped. The chef and his helpers did a fantastic job cooking and displaying all the dishes. When one of our party asked if they had cranberry sauce to add to the delicious meal, the guys in the back ,not only put it out for us, but added a bowl to the other food. The host, the lady at the front desk, everyone, made it an enjoyable experience

I was extremely impressed with the gnocchi sausage dish! I can tell that sauce was chef made and the gnocchi was just as good. Very pleased with the flavors. I ordered and took to my room so not sure on service etc.

For our first visit we first ordered pizza and were not disappointed. There was a table next to us that had a local sampler on a large wooden tray that looked amazing. We would recommend drinking the Sardinian wines and beer available. The second time we did the seafood sampler, which was very different from the one we saw there other night. It was wonderful. So light and fresh. The flavors were true to the Sardinian cuisine we had come to enjoy while you’re here.

My fiancé and I came to Roanoke/Natural Bridge for a 48 hour fly-by-the-seat adventure from Tampa. Wandered to Lexington looking for dinner and stumbled on this beautiful hotel. Sat on the balcony and enjoyed excellent service and indescribably superb food. We could quite literally taste the freshness of the ingredients. My fiancé raved over every bite of every dish, and said it was the best Caesar salad he’d ever had (with locally grown hydro greens and housemade dressing and croutons). We even sought out the chef (which we’ve never done) to personally express our culinary pleasure. Highly recommend.
