Best food I have ever had. I highly recommend this place. Staff was great, especially Ashley and Sarah. Nicest bar I have ever been to. Definitely will make trips back to this place.

The deviled eggs are the best thing on the menu. This is by no means an insult. They are hands down *the* best deviled eggs I have ever had. Period. The rest of the food is phenomenal as well. We've never been disappointed by our drinks or our meals here.

Corned Beef and Cabbage was a delight. The soda bread that comes with the plate was to die for! I bought a side of it to bring home and share. Highly recommended for a St. Patty's day meal.

As semi-weekend-regulars we always have a good time having lunch at the bar at O'Toole's Libertyville - great food, wonderful selection of beers, and fantastic service. Thanks, Hannah, for the great service and fun conversations. Also, consider adding the SpeakEasy burger to the regular menu!

The service here is always top notch from the hostess to our server! The menu offers tantalizing choices and the portions are so large that I always have lunch for the next day. I’m so glad to have O’Toole’s in our town.

Great dinner on the patio Thursday night. Staff was phenomenal and our food was delish! By far one of the best charcuterie boards I have had. Loved the grilled bread especially. Also, loved the egg on top of my delicious salad. Going again tonight!

The service is wonderful there, One thing I like about this bar is that I have a favorite bartender who is very friendly and has guts to chat with a deaf person (yes I’m deaf) and there are staff that is cool . One of the bouncer is a very cool homie and I always fist bump them. And the other bartenders upstairs understands the sign for water I believe. Will always come back in the future!!

Great service, but I was most impressed with the gluten free menu. It was excellent especially for an Irish restaurant. I will definitely return.

Great place. Delicious food and drinks. Celebrated a friend's birthday there yesterday. Our waiter, Michael, went out of his way to make it perfect. It's awesome to go with the family, too. One of the best places in the area. Try the combo board. Heavenly!

Last night I attended my very first 101 at O’Tooles! What a great experience!!! The decor was absolutely amazing for the theme (Halloween), Scotty, the host, was super fun and engaging, and the food pairings were spot on! What a totally unique event that I have not seen in the area! Highly recommend checking this out but the clases fill quickly!! I still can not get over the fact that it was only $25!!! Can’t wait for the next one!

We had a large party and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The service was great, the food fabulous (as always) and we had our own private room. 5 stars all the way around!

The French onion soup is definitely a winner, made perfectly. The place has a lot of indoor and outdoor space, and you can easily get a seat without a reservation. The atmosphere and food are fantastic.

We had a long day of traveling and my husband and I were hungry to say the least. I had the teriyaki bowl and it had lots of great flavor. My husband had the mushroom bowl and he really enjoyed it. We both enjoyed the flatbread appetizer and it was good as well. Great service and atmosphere.

My wife and I shared the artichoke dip for an appetizer . For my meal, I had the starred restaurant favorite bacon turkey sandwich. I had the $6 beer of the month which is pint size. The place had lots of people and lively atmosphere. When we got seated, our waiter didn't stop by for like 10min and remarked surprised when he saw us. Food was pretty good.

O'toole's is a northern Illinois staple for tasty food, service and a great time! Oddly enough, this is the first time I've tried their Bloody Mary and it did not disappoint. Just as full of flavor as I have come to expect from this establishment. The only thing I wasn't super happy about was the tater tots were a bit bland. With that said, it didn't stop me from enjoying everything else... And yes, I finished the tots also. Haha If you're looking for a great food experience, I would 100% recommend any of the 4 locations.

I tried a few times this legendary place in Libertyville… and I left always thinking the same. Not for me. The 4 stars are 89% for the staff. Dedicated, precise, fast, kind and profesional. Even the summer kids that they hire temporarily are nice! Good job! However… I find myself screaming to be able to communicate because the noise inside is always super loud. And then there’s the food… it’s just fine… for what the place is, I feel it could be slightly better. Nothing special. We ordered the fries with the beef and it was cold on the sides and just warm in the center. My wife got the fish with rice and I got to try it; that was better. I guess the rest of the stars go for the wide variety of beers… They have been in business since 1982, so may be time to review their kitchen… it would make a huge difference. They have trivia Tuesday’s and a ton of events which is what makes you come back. Drinks and events. Other than that, am going to wait for the food to improve before am back.

We had my daughter’s baby shower at Timothy O’Toole’s in the private room upstairs. What an amazing experience it was. Jennifer and her staff we so professional, helpful and fun. The food was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Definitely would recommend to anyone having a celebration.
