Lots of parking Outdoor seating Fast service It's a very classic Chicago-style restaurant with burgers, gyros, pizza puffs, and hot Dawgs! Bomber beef Great beef sandwich, tons of meat, and seasoned well. Great bread to soak up the juice! Marinara sauce paired well with the beef flavor. Large Cheese Fry Excellent fry taste, slightly greasy fry, which I like. TONS of fries in a large! Chicago dog Good base hot dog with fresh toppings Chili cheese dog Same good base hot dog with tons of chili on top. I could use onions on top as well. Waffle fries It's worth going back for the fries alone. More excellent fries, salted well and plenty.

Tonight was my first time dining at Max's Dawg House on Milwaukee Ave in Libertyville. I'm thrilled to report that the double hotdog meal was excellent and the fresh-cut, home-made (REAL!) French Fries were perfectly done. I love French Fries this way, particularly when they leave the potato skin on them...that's how you know they're REAL. My dining companion ordered the Veggie "Impossible" Burger and condiments (lettuce, tomato, onions and mayonnaise), which made the perfect combination of creamy, crunchy, cool and tart. Few places do vegetarian food that well. The cashier and the chef were pleasant and helpful, which is an exception in today's world, certainly not the rule. After we placed our order and paid, the food was ready just a few moments after we got our drinks and sat down. So the service, even though there's no wait staff, was excellent. The dining/customer seating area was clean and well lit. Bottom line, we shall be repeat customers and look forward to dining at Max's Dawg House with pleasant anticipation!

I have only been in once, and I only ordered French fries, which are fresh cut. The portion was very nice, and plenty . The taste... some of the best that I've had in a long time. Nice employees that seem to be happy ( that's a plus ). Atmosphere is that of a typical Chicagoland dog spot at lunchtime, just a lot of people enjoying a good lunch. I will definitely be back for some lunch. This place also has a daily special.

Been coming here on and off for about 10/11 years. Love the place, No frills, just good food! They put five guys and shake shack to shame, and they do it with ease! If you want a good burger, dog, polish, and/or fantastic fries, hop on in and get your grub on. Honorable mention, very clean bathrooms! You know what they say, "clean bathrooms clean kitchen!"

Came to Chicago for a day trip for work. I had to leave home at 3 am to catch a flight but this made it worth it

No kidding, this place has good hot dogs and fries. I already know a lot of places and spots with good food, especially hot dogs, and I would definitely include this one. I like them not only for their food, but I also like them because they have amazing and great customer service. Their employees inside are really nice and very accommodating. It is really nice to have a short chat with the employees while waiting for the food and, most importantly, a kind of chat that really has a sense. Back to the food: although they have a variety of selections on their menu, I just chose a hot dog and fries for some reason, and I do not regret it, or else I would not be able to know how good their hot dogs and fries are. Their hot dogs are so simple and basically the same as the other hot dogs around, but they serve them hot with every fresh ingredient in it, and they taste delicious. Their hot dogs are those kinds of hot dogs that a child would always want. The fries were also good. It is crispy and it is perfectly seasoned. Their prices are fair and very reasonable, which is why I love them so much, not just for the food and service but also for their good prices.

They were fairly busy when I stopped in for lunch, which is a good sign. Food is made to order. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the North suburbs. Ordered the Patty Melt and Large Fries. Both were hot and tasted very fresh. The sandwich was very good, not over cooked like a lot of places tend to do. I think the fries were very good and are equal to the fries at Ricobene's or 5 Guys. Definitely placing Max's Dawg House on my starred places to stop at when in the neighborhood.

Best Chicago-style char-grilled hot dogs in the area. I've been coming here since I was a kid and this place has never disappointed. The dogs are always perfectly charred and dragged through the garden to perfection. I can see why this place is part of Vienna beef's Hall of Fame program!
