We went early on a Saturday evening, and we were promptly seated. They brought out a small complimentary vegetable plate, nothing there that I would eat, but the rest of the party appreciated it. My steak promptly came out cooked just as I had ordered. Their BLT looks good as well. Food was good and seemed like a good value, although some of it was just a sightly on the salty side. The beer selection above average.

This was my first time experiencing Lock 16, but it definitely will not be the last.
My wife and I decided to have our Saturday night date night here, and we arrived around 7:00. We were told that there would be a wait of about 1.5hours (which helped me to feel good about the quality of food we were going to be served)
We spent the time waiting walking around Menards which is just around the corner now. (Woo hoo!) it didn’t take long for that time to pass and we came back and were seated immediately.
Our sever, Shell, did a great job! I don’t think my glass was ever more than half empty! Food was FANTASTIC! This whole experience was just really nice as I feel that Lima doesn’t have many places that offer this level of food and service! I couldn’t recommend this place more, and we are already planning a double date with out friends!
PS: Lobster Mac and Cheese was DA BOMB!
I wish I could give it more than just 5 stars. It was perfect from start to finish. The portions were perfectly sized to keep you from getting overly full before the main course came. My son's steak was beyond tender even though he ordered it well done. Morgan was our waitress and, for being what I would consider a novice server, she was outstanding. It's hard to find one so young that does such a good job. Love the atmosphere as well. We will definitely be going back.

The down side is that it's nearly impossible to get a table if you are on a schedule. They don't take reservations, and the wait is usually 30+ minutes, as much as 1.75 hrs on the weekends.
The evidence speaks for itself - they're a great place to eat, you just have to be patient in order to be seated.
My son starts college at unoh in August. Kept hearing great things about this place. They went far beyond what people say & I didn't hear 1 bad comment at all. Food is fantastic wait staff is a great bunch of people. Looking forward visiting many more times
