I think Yamato steak house is a great place to eat. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Lima. The food is phenomenal and the service is good as well, highly recommend!

We eat there every few months. The waiter Dakota and waitress Shannon is who we will request they are wonderful. Food is excellent.
When here on a Monday for lunch with my dad. The inside was very clean and fancy. We had trouble at first understanding how the menu worked, but the waitress showed us about how it works. The best thing to do is tell them what you want and they'll tell you the price (instead of you figuring it out yourself). I ordered the steak and shrimp lunch combo. It was super tasty. I would definitely order it again. Soup came with mine and it was also very good. The price for myself was about $15.00 which I think is very fair considering the environment and quality of food. Overall it was a great experience and cannot wait to go back sometime.

Was very busy but we got our table in a timely matter. Very good and polite service. Waiter came back often to check drinks and if we needed anything Food was excellent. Will definatly come back. I highly recommend!! <3
It was early in the day. Went with my oldest daughter and her husband. We had a variety of sushi and a bento box. All very delicious. Have had sushi for lunch to go as well since then. That was delicious as well.

Stopped there to have dinner with some people visiting from Europe. We all had a good time and ate very well. We really enjoyed watching the Chef cook. First time experience for two of the guys. Prices are not inexpensive, but the amount of food you get is a lot. Best picks for the day were as always the soup and lobster Rangoon, the Wasabi mayo salmon was tender and flavorful. Chicken and steak tips hibachi was good. Location was not busy for 5 o'clock on a Thursday. Will definitely return here to eat again, but try to check out the lunch specials instead as the prices as much cheaper.
The food was good. The service was adequate. The hibachi cook lacked personality but cooked well.
A very pleasant and tasty experience. The food is delicious and the employees are very friendly. I'm not a sushi guy but I still enjoyed my dinner.
Great sushi - had the Caterpillar and Eel Avocado rolls. Everything was delicious, from the soup and salad to the dessert (green tea mochi). First time coming here and I'm extremely satisfied, and planning to come again!
Been here a few times and it is a++ good servers, good food and what you would expect from hibachi. I also will say there sushi is a above average. Not the best but very good.
