While it doesn’t look like much from the outside, don’t let it’s humble location fool you. It is probably one of the best Carry out restaurants if the Lima Area. The food is always freshly prepared, I have always ordered pad Thai and it is always freshly prepared. The portions are generous, the food is amazing and the staff is very nice and polite.
Very good food, very friendly staff. From the outside, Bangkok Bay doesn't look like much. The inside is decorated nice and the place is clean. The food was excellent! Both of us had hot tea (it tasted like orange pekoe) which was very good; not too weak or strong. We then had an appetizer of crab cakes ($8.95 for two) of which the flavor was phenomenal. The sauce on the side was very delicious; it had a lot going on but complimented the crab cakes. She had Pad Thai ($11.95) and I had Khai Yud Sai ($15.95; how do they make that without messing up the egg!?) Both of the entrees were delicious with generous portions. Very happy, we'll be back! 😊
Great food incredibly friendly staff. Just be sure to tell them if you can't handle spicy food so they can step the heat on some of the dishes down for you.
The best restaurant in the area that make fresh food within minutes. I am never disappointed by their pad thai. Always freshly cooked and tastes great.
Was looking for Thai food in the area and saw good reviews all around on this place so we decided to try it for mother's day. When we arrived the place doesn't look like much from the outside, and the inside is small with not a lot of seating.
We each ordered our own appetizers and every one of them was amazing! Highly recommend the steamed dumplings!
After that we were sold and the entrees lived up to expectations. Really really great food, and after driving an hour to get here we will gladly make the trip again soon!
Most restaurants or commercial ads you see entice you with colourful images of what your food COULD look like.
This place does matches those images perfectly!
To top it all off, the food is extraordinary. When I travel through Ohio, I try to time it so that I happen to pass by either at lunch or just in time for dinner.
It’s not on a major exit, no signage to guide you, but if you find this hidden treasure you won’t regret it.
I was also fortunate to have my family with me on one of my trips and was able to introduce the kids to heir first Thai food cuisine. They Loved it!
They still ask if we can go back or if I can bring some home with me the next time I pass by.
