I’ve been on an informal quest to find the best Black Raspberry milkshake in the 9 county area during my work travels. Been to 7 small independent ice cream shops so far, hands down Whippy Dip has the best. Good ice cream, real blended fresh fruit, and NEVER underestimate the oversized straw that allows the real fruit thru without collapsing. A++ (would be 3 +’s except they insist that 2 size options are large and medium.....ummm, you can’t have a medium unless there are 3 options)

Shredded chicken sandwiches with 4 pickles on top,, yummy yum. Mushrooms and the onion rings excellent milkshake. Superb, you can't go wrong at this location.
Only wish they could stay open all year round

Really good food with lots of choices plus ice cream it's a win win.
I wasn't aware that mini Buckeyes were even a thing, but I'd eat a bag of them. The ice cream is some of the best I've had. The onion rings were the best I've had. The burger kicks the crap out of Kewpee's burgers.
Great food, great ice cream, great service. My family loves this place and they are just around the corner from us.
My favorite place to go for ice cream. A foot long hotdog with nacho cheese and onion. With a hawaiian sunset sunday! :)

Some times I take Whippy Dip Ice Cream for granted due to the fact that I live so close to it and I can go whenever I want, and have been going there for over 4 years. The ice cream is so rich and creamy and delicious so many flavors to choose from ,and all homemade. Every day they have specials on quarts and pints. Even with long lines the wait does not seem very long if you are ever in Lima give it a try.
Yet another gem found in another town far away from home. Their ice cream was super creamy and delicious. I had the s'mores Sunday. They could have put more toppings on. There was not much. I still give it a 5 because it reminds me of the soft serve I had growing up.
Stopped there 11:15 (not long after opening for day), ordered a dozen Coney dogs. Order done in 7 minutes and whole crew says Very Tasty. Also, be sure to also order one of EXCELLENT milkshakes.
Good frozen treats and hot foods. Kid/family friendly. Courteous staff
I got the August special drumstick flurry and this was fantastic. The Pub (bacon cheese) burger was also great. All of the staff had smiles on their faces and they looked genuinely happy working here. Thank you for a great first experience, I will definitely be back!
