Autobahn was amazing. Our drinks were cold and delicious. Our food was incredible. The burger I bought was called The Don and it was literally seven to nine inches tall with fries in the side. It was very busy and we didn’t get the best seating but after one drink and a few bites, everything tasted so great we forgot about the seating and just had a really good time. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for a beer while waiting for my car to recharge over at the mall. My friend and I have never been here, and we're immediately happy with the place. Awesome atmosphere, very friendly staff, and authentic beer and food. We didn't eat this time around, but we had a few different selection of tasty beverages. I live in Portland, and will definitely be coming back in the near future for food and more beer. Highly recommended.

This is a locals spot, not a trendy touristy place. Good service, good beers and great German food. The cabbage rolls are basically giant sausages wrapped in cabbage, so yummy. We will be back.

The wife and I make it a point to stop here every time we come to Lincoln City now. We both love the Weisswurst, and the pretzels are amazing. I am particularly fond with the Spaten Optimator for my choice of beer. Excellent service, fair prices and nice atmosphere. I would certainly recommend a stop here.

I was craving German food (my boyfriend is German and I'd spent the last year living in Baden-Württemberg). I was driving 101 when I saw the German flags. Of course I had to stop! It was great. I had the Jäger schnitzel and side salad. I ordered Spätzle for my side. Spätzle is one of my favorite German foods and that's what I was really craving. I say this spot was very authentic. They served huge portions and I only ate 1/2 my meat as usual -see I was always disappointing my boyfriend when we'd go out to eat in Germany and I couldn't handle the portions. The Spätzle was really good! I probably should have ordered a side of it to go. They had German beers but unfortunately I was driving more and couldn't imbibe :( If you're in the area, stop in! Try it. German food is not so exotic to American dishes. They love things fried, large meat, not spicy but flavorful, sauces, gravy, cheesy noodles. The only thing some Americans may not like is the cooked red cabbage. It's a small side served with almost every dish. I like it because I observed how my German family ate it where they take a little bit on their forks and add it to a bite of meat of noodles, instead of eating it completely alone. It really adds to the other foods. Prices are great! It was 13.50 before tip.

I'm always looking for good German food when on vacation. I found this place to add to our agenda while on vacation. The food is good, the service is friendly. The beer and bloody Mary's are also really good. Stop here and you won't regret it.

Great food, comfortable seating, and a good atmosphere. We showed up with 8 of us in the party. We were greeted, seated and felt welcome. I was impressed that the chef came out to our table after cooking our meals to ensure that we were happy with everything. The authentic German food and beers were spot on. We definitely will be repeat customers. Reasonable prices and large portions.

Food was excellent. And they are very friendly. Not a lot of seating though. I’ll be going back. Try the potato dumplings. Soft pretzels and real German style beer cheese fondue.

UPDATE 9/22/23: Came back here with the significant other and her mom that's visiting while traveling the coast. Still an amazing experience, amazing food, and amazing service. Had the Brat Burger, King's Platter and Schnitzel. Honest to God this is a 7 star establishment when it comes to food and alcohol. Best German food around. Go here!!! __________________ Had previously missed trying out Autobahn back in October on a vacation due to a power outage, but we were finally able to try this today and let me tell you - this place DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. First and foremost - to largely spare you from a read - this is the best German food that we have ever eaten. Period, end of discussion. While Mount Angel has some great German food and is usually talked about in Oregon culinary circles, Autobahn 101 is the premium spot for German cuisine. Authenticity? Check. Speed of Service? Check. Food was out in "waves" and in under 15 minutes. Quality of Service? Check. The lady that helped us (I didn't catch her name but will next time!) was polite, welcoming and even found time to have a talk about the local area. Quality of Food/Presentation? Check, check, check. Food was fresh, hot, visually inviting - and criminally good. We got the Smoked Sausage Corndogs, Pork Schnitzel Dinner (with soup) and The Brat Burger with hot German Potato Salad. Remember how I said the food came out in "waves"? What I mean is that we only ordered one app and two entrees - but the soup came out first for us to taste, followed by the app and then the entrees. They were paced at 4-5 minute intervals and that subtle attention to detail truthfully gave it that upscale feel which goes really unnoticed in most restaurants around here. The sleeper hit here was The Brat Burger. When I tell you that this pretzel bun is singlehandedly the most buttery soft, delicious bun we've ever had, EVER, it's not an exaggeration. That, coupled with how seasoned and juicy the brat burger was itself? It deserves a 10 star by itself! Autobahn 101 is easily within our top 3 of best Oregon restaurants we have ever been to, and hands down the best German food we have had thus far. If you are traveling and find yourself in Lincoln City, make time to try them - you definitely won't regret it. And make sure to try The Brat Burger! TLDR; Brat Burger. Try it. If I could give Autobahn 6 stars, I would! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice little change from seafood on the coast. This place is quaint with its own kind of old world charm. A mix of regulars and some tourists. Pretzels and sauerkraut are a must. We were underwhelmed by the spaizel and really didn’t care for the apple strudel, it tasted old. Wish there were a little more veg friendly items but overall we will visit again. Great beer prices and a fun little spot to take visiting friends and family

First time stopping by the Autobahn 101 for dinner with the wife. I enjoy German food and must say very impressed with the food. The atmosphere is European inside. If your driving through Lincoln City and want something different than Surf and turf, I suggest you give the Autobahn a try. Prices are very affordable and food is Great🥰🥰

We ordered the Gyro Burger and pretzel w/ beer cheese. Food was very good. Atmosphere was clean and rustic. Average wait time for our food. Our server was less than professional and not friendly. We'll be back for the food, though.

Best German food on the coast! We stopped by for brunch and got the Reuben Sandwich with fries, the schnitzel, and some nuggets and fries for the kid. Everyone was satisfied with the food and service. We will definitely be going back again next time we're in town.

All I can say is, after my first time here, I already know what I am going to order to try out on my next 6 visits! Yes, it's THAT incredibly scrumptious! I shared the amazing Hot German Potato Salad with my dining partner because he'd never had it before. My entree was the Chicken German Schnitzel with Pomme Frites & a cup of Spaetzle Soup, which I wish I would have taken a quart home of. My dining partner had what he described as, the best burger he has ever had in his life! Now, if that's not a solid testimony, I don't know what else could be. I wish it weren't 100 miles away from me...or maybe that's a good thing. Lol. Our server was polite & had the most infectiously cute demeanor. The place is cozy & our food came out quickly. I am chomping at the bit to go back!!

We've enjoyed Autobahn 101 quite a few times. Food is always delicious. Nice sized portions. Dinners include a nice sized, fresh dinner salad, something you don't always receive here on the coast. Service is quick and friendly. A wonderful assortment of German and local beer. Their schnitzel is the best! Potato pancakes crispy and creamy. We've always wanted to try their homemade desserts but are always too full. This place is a must-visit if you're a fan of German food or love good burgers and great beer.

If you're worried about trying German food just try this place, it's tasty! The food there is a mix of American and German. The burger I had was sort of half and half because it had schnitzel on it. So tasty, but difficult to eat because of how tall it was. I still loved the food. Service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is sort of rustic simple. Its fine but nothing to write home about. I'll probably go again next time I'm in town, tasty!

The real deal!! What a surprise to find an authentic German restaurant in Lincoln City. Food was outstanding! I've never had beer cheese like that in my life and the warm german potato salad was incredible! We also had a homemade pretzel and a schnitzel sandwich. Everything was perfect, unbelievably delicious. Loved the atmosphere, all of the beautiful wood inside. And the service was awesome, very friendly. If I lived at the coast this place would be my daily hang!

Just Pretty good, but the best German food you'll find anywhere nearby. A bit pricey for what you get, but it was tasty and satisfying. Service was okay, quickly approached and served, but no one came back for drink orders or to refill the water. German polka music was a bit too loud. I'd go back.

Excellent German food on the coast. Autobahn 101 has amazing food and German beers that you won't find anywhere else except Germany. The serve the beer in liter or half-liter mugs, which I love. The sauerkraut balls are a must try, as is the pretzel and any of the house made sausage. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

It is so hard to find places with authentic food. They said authentic German food, and they did not disappoint. My mom and myself are from German heritage, she grew up eating traditional German food from my grandfather, and she raised me with a lot of the same recipes. It was our first time there after living here on the coast for 4 years now. We will most definitely be back, and it will now be my go to recommendation for people asking about where to eat. Thank you so much for keeping the German community and culture alive
