Phat Jacks is a surprisingly good barbecue restaurant for Lincoln, NE. Their new location has the additional space they needed and the service I received today was better than ever. The cashier recognized me even though I hadn't been there in over a year and several crew members stopped by my table to make sure everything was satisfactory. I got the barbecue nachos, which is basically a HUGE portion of ballpark style nachos made perfect with tons of pulled pork and brisket. Regardless of what meat you choose, I always find their meat to be more tender and better quality than any I've had at any Kansas, Oklahoma, or Texas barbecue place.
We chose Phat Jacks for valentines dinner. The prime rib was amazing! The dinner came with 2 sides, a dinner roll and a drink so it was a great value too. If they offer a prime rib special again, we won’t pass it up!!
The brisket melts in your mouth.
Potato salad was creamy, and a perfect combination.
The line was long, but moved quickly.

Amazing BBQ! Drove from Omaha just to try it and all I can say is that we will definitely be back!! I've always said you can tell a good BBQ joint by their brisket and this was some of the best brisket I've had!! Service was great and food literally came out within 5 minutes of sitting down!
Had the full rack, cheesy potatoes and mac n cheese.
The ribs were dry, tough, and over seasoned. The cheesy potatoes were BOMB.
The mac and cheese is essentially velveeta.
The people were great, place was clean, and food came out fast. Maybe I just came on a bad day.
Great place to eat! Awesome Manager let us stay even though they were closing cause we were waiting on our ride to show up due to our vehicle breaking down! Great food! Great Service Highly recommend!!

Last night we enjoyed the Valentine’s Special. It was AWESOME!!! Dan had the prime rib and I had the salmon. I think you should make both a part of your regular menu. They were so delicious and cooked to perfection. The meal coupled with the friendly service was truly a remarkable value! Thank you!!
This was so delicious! The pork just melted and the brisket was delicious as well. We didn’t get one of our kids meals but I’m not even mad about it because it was so delicious! � Can’t wait to go back!

The burnt ends are the best I've anywhere! Better than any KC Barbeque heavy weights. I can't wait for the pork belly burnt ends to become a regular item. Great business, great food, great owners!

Phat Jacks is probably the best BBQ I have been to since my arrival in NE. Great food and great service. We like the smoked turkey so much, that we decided to order one for our Thanksgiving dinner.....now that is saying something :)

Phat Jacks is the best BBQ in eastern Nebraska. We live in Omaha and if we can think of any reason to go to Lincoln we include Phat Jacks as a part of our trip. :-)
