I tried this place for the first time. I was in the area and I’m glad I did. Steak burrito is what I had. Super tender meat and the flavor was second to none. Worth every penny of the $7.80 price tag.

As a former resident of San Diego for 7 years and a certified Mexican connoisseur. This is the best local fare within 7 Square miles. The menudo is wonderful if not lacking a little salt (easily adjustable). The burritos offer a large portion in a period of “shrink flation” if you see this review

This place is phenomenal from top to bottom. I have eaten here for over a decade. Wonderful staff, atmosphere, and product. It is about perfect. I get a taco dinner including rice, beans, +horchata.
My wife and I go here every weekend . Travel a bit because it's worth it. Food is reasonable large portions , fresh and tasty. We don't go anywhere else since nobody compares.
