GOOD FOOD, BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN SHOP, EMPLOYEES REQUESTED, IT WAS VERY COLD BUT I STAYED COMFORTABLE!
This location would rank in my top 10% for McDonald's. The interior is very clean, and there are lots of seating options. The staff members were friendly and helpful. My son loved the light up table and the color changing dots. The food was very fresh - so fresh that I actually had to give the fries a second to cool down 🍟
The first McDonald's which I truly liked. Compared to those in Europe, this one is clean, nice atmosphere, cheerful workers. Love it here. Thank you guys ❤️ much love from your Ukrainian customer
Is quick service, My 5 year old waved and said hello to the clerk from the back seat and she waved and said hello back very friendly made my day. It's the little things. Food was not 100%, but pretty fresh.
I lived down the street from this McDonalds for 4 years in Downers Grove. I moved to Nebraska last year and I come back for business quarterly and stay in Downers Grove. This is owned and operated by the Schmitt family and it’s absolutely a gem. The people that serve the drive through are always happy, courteous and get everything right. When they say “have a good day” I really believe they mean it. Also, their attrition rate must be seriously low, meaning that there are good leaders in place or the family that owns that franchise is heavily involved. Literally, I came here this morning and the people that served me through the drive through were the same people that served me the past few years and I haven’t been back in a year. One individual remembered me and said “how was the move? You don’t bother us anymore for coffee and breakfast burritos?”
Very solid location, it does get busy very often here but the service is very fast. Been here several times had no issues, spacious parking lot.
Wow! What a turn around. I swore never to go back to this location but it's close and my daughter wanted to go to the play place. Its not that the people before were bad just bad at their job. Now the service is fast, tables are spotless and the play place doesn't smell terrible anymore! Not sure how they did it so fast but I'll be back now that they've got it together.

I went through the drive thru at this location and the ordering screen was completely off, so I could not see the menu. Unfortunately I was not really sure what I wanted so it made the ordering a little more difficult. The employee was somewhat helpful but not being able to see the options really limited my choices. The food was ready when I got to the window so that was a plus. May have just been the day and it's been repaired since but I have not been back. The food itself was good and what you would expect from McDonald's.
Went in around 10:30 AM and they were out of expresso for an iced Latte. Manager instantly apologizes (like I care that much about a silly drink lol) refunds me, and gives me whatever caffeine similar-ish kind of drink I want and puts it in THIS HUGE FRIGGIN EXTRA LARGE THING! And it was FREE!!! These guys are kind, hard working, super fast, and keep the place nice and clean, what AWESOME management!
They know how to make the customer happy (even though I would’ve been fine either way lol some people need to chill when going to fast food places - It’s not a 5 star restaurant)
Good job to these managers and McDonald’s team!!! I hate doing reviews but this was well worth it!!! God bless y’all!
