So soooooo good! I ordered to go and I got three rolls. The volcano, the capital, and the monkey brain. All were delicious! I will definitely be eating here again!
No complaints! Everyone was a little corky and friendly, but relatable! The drinks and food was great! I ordered the sashimi and my wife got the eel and red snapper roll. It was excellent!
Find a Japanese restaurant that served delicious sushi is very difficult. But i found it. My favorite Japanese restaurant ever! My first ordered is sashimi because I like it! My first impression was good! fresh sashimi once. Then I have tried the favorite salad dressing. It feels fresh (Remind me of the "rujak" sauce) hahaha. also some sushi roll (idk the name) it's very delicious. Tempura isn't bad too for snack! 😛 The place isn't look like a Japanese. But very comfortable. Besides, its friendly service at all! Last but not least, cheesecake fried so soft and crunchy! Yummy
Absolutely AMAZING! The people were so sweet and friendly. And the sushi was so flippin good! Go here when you are in little rock! I literally can not rave enough about this place.
THE spot for sushi in Little Rock! This has been the wife and I's favorite spot for years. Owners are second to none and wait staff is prompt and courteous as well as knowledgable! Jalapeño Fried Rice, Shumai and the "Playboy" and "WhoDat" rolls are absolutely out of this World!!!
Delicious! Waiter was helpful and pointed us to the Who-dat! Roll. Very good. Wasabi roll also very good. And it comes out on fire - extra bonus. Salmon and tuna were very fresh.
So, it was ok, nothing spectacular, a little dive sushi bar.....but very popular - had an hour and a half sushi wait. The menu was lacking to me as far as sushi-everything was just plain.....a rainbow roll shouldn't be the most variety I see on a sushi menu. The rolls I got I had to eat with soy sauce, which I hate to do. The nigiri was pretty good, good rice, but the white tuna was too watery, so what is usually my favorite was my least favorite here. We did have a fabulous waitress and I feel bad that I've forgotten her name.
First time going to Wasabi and the food was really amazing as well as the service. We had appetizers, sushi rolls (playboy roll was exceptional) and calamari and vegetable tempura entrees with soup and salads and a wonderful new zealand wine. Besides the odd decor with several pretty innappropriate signs hanging around the restaurant (just not our humor I guess) but we would definitely go back for the food.
Great food! Calamari side dish was tender and jalapeno fried rice was spicy and flavorful.
I recommend the Playboy roll! Tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, blanched asparagus, topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce on FIRE!
Big time!!! Had great conversation with sushi chef, service was outstanding! Highy recommend this place!
Love the playboy. Great and unique roll
Amazing experience! By far the best sushi we have ever eaten. Unbelievable prices for unbelievable food!
Amazing! We came into town late and was expecting half decent sushi. Got way way more. The sushi was the best I have ever eaten and the service a amazing. We were treated like family. Little touches of super delicious soup and slices of watermelon on the house added to the experience. Try the playboy roll and the who dat roll. You won't be disappointed. What you definitely HAVE to try is the red bean ice cream. To die for. By far the best ice cream I have ever eaten.
This is by far my favorite sushi place. The playboy roll is to die for!!! And the catepillar roll is the best in town.
Good Sushi, Good Location. They have a new Volcano #3 roll with spicy tuna, try it!
Specialty rolls were Very good. Good service. Must try sparkling sake.
Best Sushi Value in Little Rock!. I'm not gonna lie--my favorite place for asian food in LIttle Rock is Lillys' Dim Sum and my favorite place for sushi is Sushi Cafe...
HOWEVER!
The best place to get sushi or more authentic Japanese cuisine (i.e. sushi) at a reasonable price is definitely Wasabi.
The staff is friendly enough, even if the service can be so-so depending on the visit; your waiter/waitress forgetting at least one item you ordered seems to be the norm for me, but I can let that fly since the sushi is great quality and vastly more affordable than Sushi Cafe.
I have been to Wasabi countless times and will no doubt be back just as often.
Awesome. Really good sushi and a great place to people watch.
Best sushi in Arkansas. Love this restaurant. The fish is always fresh, and the main sushi chef is excellent. Their selection of non-Japanese menu items are also generally very tasty. Saf the bartender is always extremely energetic and charming, and is pretty much the whole reason to go there, other than the wonderful sushi.
Also, to not mention their handmade ginger dressing would be a crime, as it is quite simply the best anywhere. Period.
This is the best sushi bar in town. You will love the atmosphere and sushi. Try the playboy roll and valcano. Don't forget the super white tuna and yellow tail. Tell them the CROW sent you!!!! I frequent this place
I have had sushi all over the US and this place had by far the BEST tuna I have ever had. They said they had it flown in daily from Hawaii. It was incredible. I almost could not stop eating it
