Food is very fresh. My family and I have been coming here for a few years and are never disappointed. We don't live in the area and have gone out of our way just to eat here. The food is always fresh and is bursting with flavor. The pastor tacos are a must try! This is a true authentic mexican restaurant.

The chips were ok, the carne asada and buche were good but the Carnitas and tripas I loved. The rice and beans were very good as well. Definitely not Tex-Mex which I don't particularly care for anyway. I would definitely go back

YES. Slow to get chips, she forgot to get my water. Chips are too thick and feel stale. Just enough staff to wait for the trickle of customers. This is my second review, the first was better. The menu is new, not certain if the prices have changed too? Salsa is still heated, not add spicy or as good as last time. Good fajitas. Everything else was good but not fresh...

11 years and counting. Taqueria Karina is a real Mexican restaurant. Don't expect Tex-Mex because you won't find it. What you will find is real food, good service from waiters and waitresses that speak very little english and an abundance of food for the price! I have been going there for lunch once a month for 11 years now. they recently had to raise their lunch price to $4.50!!! OMG, it was $3.99 for so long I don't know if I can stand the price increase for more authentic Mexican food than any 1 person should eat. A great place for lunch!

Best Authentic Mexican Food in AR. I don't know of any other place in Arkansas that comes close to being authentic. Taqueria Karina is the real deal and reminds me of the food I had visiting street vendors in Mexico. That is a good thing by the way as the food is outstanding.

The prices are SUPER cheap (s not made from a can. :)

I've been eating at Taqueria Karina Cafe for close to a decade now but not often enough. The reason for my absence is that they are located on West 65th street that is far outside of my normal area. The other issue is that they don't have many low-calorie options and I don't eat fattening foods during the week. I used to go scuba diving with my father in Cozumel many years ago before it was a tourist trap. Back then, the town ended about two blocks outside of the "city" square and the best place to get food was at a thatched hut. Two guys would drive up on a scooter with an ice-chest on the back, unload, and cook lunch at the hut. It cost around 50 cents for two asada (beef) tacos and they were amazing. Nothing beat drinking a Corona , sitting on the beach under a hut, and eating authentic homemade tacos. Teleport across the Ocean to the United States and then into Arkansas and the best alternative to Mexico can be f
