I have eaten at the Terrace over a 25 year time period but only twice in the last 5 years or so because of the proximity. I had lunch with my wife today and I am pleased to say it is a good as it ever was. We started with the tomato bisque soup and it was perfectly spiced. I then had the special of the day, chicken piccata. The flavor was incredible! The bread was warm and delicious and I topped it off with a pomegranate martini and it was excellent as well. The service was very personable and friendly. I will not wait so long to return.
Back in "the day" this was one of my first-date spots. In the years since, I've taken my wife a few times. Very relaxed atmosphere. I've dined in blue jeans and in a suit - and was treated with the same respect every time. The staff always makes a point to make you feel like you're the only table they have. Hummus appetizer and anything off the grill will leave you with a grin all evening.
Great local restaurant. The Terrace is less than a mile from our house, and we dine there often. It's not easy to find - on the ground level of the Merrill Lynch building at the corner of Rodney Parham and Hinson Rd. Be sure to make a reservation because the dining room is small. Everything on the menu is good. Our particular favorite is the Frenchy Hummus appetizer. Service is consistently good, even when the restaurant is crowded. Ask for Tammy or Regina. Tammy has been there for years, and seems to be on duty every time we're there.
Nov '14 update: The Terrace is the same restaurant as ever, but our favorite waitress (Tammy) left to open up a new restaurant coming in Jan '15.

Yeeessssssss! :-). Ok so me and my coworker went to The Terrace for lunch about a month ago, She ordered the Chicken Cypress, I ordered the Salmon.. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! Great food!!! LOVED IT! Next time we went...(last week we placed a to go order so we could eat the yummy goodness at home..) SHE got the Salmon... And I got the Chicken Cypress... That.. Meal.. Changed.. My... Life.. My soul said Yes Lord... :-) Okay not really but its SOOOO GOOD! GO! NOW! And the waiter was great, I cant remember his name but he was hilarious... And fabulous all at the same time.... Def going back for more... Probably today.. #dontjudge.
My Absolute Favorite!!!. I have been eating Terrace for 5 years and there is no where that can compare. The food is always SOOO good and the service is top notch. My wife and I walk in and Thomas or Kenny say, "Chicken Cypress and Salmon Salad?" I have never had a bad experience and everything that I have ever had has been awesome BUT my favorite thing of all is the Sesame Salmon Salad. It's the best!

Formal table settings, yet casual. Great food, Great prices, Great service!!! Everything is really good...but definitely try the Chicken Terrace, Veal Barcelona---and the Frenchie Hummus is a MUST!!! Great wine pairings also! Great place to catch up with friends, or for date night!!! All-around wonderful experience!
Awese! Service is very friendly and food is fresh and delicious. Had the hummus app - very good. I also had the Jamaican heel chicken salad - very good as well. The meditterainian fish taco was huge. Kenny, Thomas and Terri are great and make you feel very welcome.
Veal Cypress is one of the best meals in town. Have the Saganaki too. They, like others by the same owner, seldom have the wine you order & serve it too hot.
Great food and Great prices. The Terrace has excellent food, service and atmosphere..I have been enjoying it for over 25 years!! A restaurant doesn't stay around that long in this Town unless it is good and it is!! I have NEVER had a bad experience at this establishment. The fish and veal are to die for!!
The Terrace on the Greens , most recently renamed to The Terrace Mediterranean Kitchen , has been a foundation restaurant in Little Rock spanning multiple decades. Although the location changed previously, and the owner once, the food has never suffered and they still have the best babaganoush , hummus , and lunch specials around town.
