I'm here on business and was looking for something off the beaten path. What a find!!!! I had the fried artichoke hearts and the portabella ravioli. It was incredible. Our server was knowledgeable and willing to make a recommendation. I recommend this place to anyone looking for quaint and classy in a relaxed comfortable setting.
Went here for dinner with a friend, spent around $40 for the two of us. The food was good and atmosphere laid-back. The service, however; was inattentive and slow. Just don't expect to be treated well or feel comfortable with the waitstaff. Crab Cakes were phenomenal, dinner salad was better than usual, I had the Portabella Ravioli which was good but spicy, and my friend had the Chicken Tender Salad which he said was one of the better salads that he has had. Overall I recommend this place.
Great hidden gem in the heights. Small and cozy. Great salads!!! Try the chopped salmon salad if its the special for that day. It's the best salad I've ever had!
Great soups. Love the mushroom soup!
Cool place, generally. Have dined there twice and find Cheers to be a really cool place with good menu, food quality, and ambience. Service on 2/13/14 was poor, though, as Sara was never around and always apologizing when she did show up. When I left she was sitting at a table of diners talking, and several minutes later when I pulled out of the parking lot she was still with them.
A repository of flavor.. Cheers has been a place in the heights since around the mid 1500's A.D. when the Mughal empire built it as a vast repository to store their collected knowledge. At some point they started making food and the rest is history. I go here a lot when i'm in the neighborhood, usually I get the Garden Burger, sometimes if I feel chemically imbalanced I get the mushroom pasta, both of which are quite good. The real star here however is the cheese dip and chips, it isn't anything too fancy but is perfectly executed yellow cheese dip. I like to sit outside watch the wealthy heights people drive their golf carts around the neighborhood because honestly the only reason I would want to be really rich is exactly to drive a golf cart around the neighborhood.
Casual yet eclectic and satisfying menu. Love the patio rain or shine. This is a sure bet for dinner!

Locally owned Winner. I mean, really? What's not to like about this place? I've eaten there 3 times in the past few months and every time I have been pleasantly surprised by the waitstaff, the quality of the food, and the overall experience. I haven't picked a favorite menu item yet, but will let you know as soon as I do..
Great atmosphere and excellent Cajun/Creole dishes, especially the portabella mushroom ravioli in Creole sauce. Will definitely return.
Cheers was an amazing experience. Service rocked. I think the girl said her name was Jess. I had the Salmon Salad, which was ridiculously good! My bf had the filet with some blue cheese sauce. I think our face thing though was the long list of wines, some we had never heard of. Very pleasant visit to Cheers!
Laid Back, Tasty. I was impressed with the varied menu at Cheers, and the food is excellent. I love a place that can serve a menu that ranges from the casual to the extremely refined, and Cheers does this well. I'm a sucker for a hamburger steak smothered in onions, and Cheers has what may be the best version I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

Sometimes You Want To Go.... This restaurant has absolutely no affiliation with the classic television show, but I had to make reference to the show in some way, especially since Ted Danson is a sometime resident of our fair city. I have even seen him out at LR restaurants, accompanied by his wife, actress Mary Steenburgen, on several occasions, but never at this one. That would be a definite photo op. I digress. Cheers has been in business since 1979, which actually predates the sitcom, irrefutable proof that the restaurant is not trying to cash in on the name.
Cheers is a great place. There is covered outdoor seating available, in addition to somewhat cramped inside dining. Very friendly and expeditious service. We have been regular customers for years.
The crab cakes are outstanding. I love the soups at Cheers, particularly the Baja Enchilada and Chicken and Dumplings. However, the soup selection changes often, so you never know which soups they are having on a given day. Unfortunately, they seem to run out of the soups frequently when they are offered.
This place has some of the best fish in LR. They sometimes offer a salmon with dill sauce that is out of this world. The halibut with creamy pesto is also divine. However, these are not standard menu items, and are only offered as occasional specials. If they would actually put these items on the menu, I would come here at least once a week. They also have great shrimp and steak, in my opinion. Good wine selection, and full bar. They once carried Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac, with the hefty price tag of $300 per drink, but I haven't seen it in quite a while. Not that I was ever able to order it, anyway.
I really enjoy this place. If they would only make some of their outstanding dishes standard menu items, it just might be my favorite restaurant in LR. Cheers' management, please take notice. Put the salmon and halibut on the menu! The food is consistently good, and service is impeccable. We will continue to dine here for years to come.
Food was delicious. I had the old fashion hamburger and it was very good. Bun was excellent as well. My gf had the chile and it was a large portion and also very good. Small dining room but enjoyable atmosphere. Will return again.
Cool place. Burgers are good, chili is good, salads are good, cheesedip is good... seafood doesnt set my world on fire and the tables are really close together. Alltogether, I dig this place pretty well.
Food was very good, service was excellent, nice choice for lunch!

I felt like the quality of the food was extremely high, especially considering how reasonable the cost of everything was.
My experience was great. First, I love the vibe of this place. I sat outside because the weather was perfect. The outside seating is pretty cool, I love how the windows can open up to the patio. The servers were were super friendly, very helpful & patient. I don’t like in Arkansas so I probably took a while to decide. The food was amazing too. All around our experience was awesome
Really enjoyed our stop in for a late lunch! It's a pretty small dining area with limited parking. Luckily we went in at a downtime, though. The inside has a really cool vibe and all the staff was super friendly. The food took a little long to get out, but once we got it we agreed that it was worth the wait. Super filling with a lot of flavor.
Went to lunch with a buddy...had a Cobb Salad and a French Dip sandwich.. buddy had salad which appeared well portioned and fresh.. I had the French Dip sandwich....bread was very warm and pillow soft...don't like Swiss...they gave me a choice of 3 chesses..I went with pepper jack so the roast beef was fairly warm because the cheese was melted. Good Roast Beef portion...Au Jus was hot and delicious...very good service... delicious taste..
Cheers got us all setup and ready to pregame before the Bonnie Raitt Concert...THANK YALL SO MUCH!!! Everything was fantastic..
10/5 had lunch with the wife again I had the club sandwich and a cup of gumbo great spot to eat :) 8/14 Love the outdoor setting. Between two of us we had the club sandwich, Big Easy salad, fried green tomatoes w/shrimp . And it was awesome . 🙂. 12/13 today we had the Albuquerque turkey sandwich and yes it was very good..
