AMAZING! By far one of the best sandwich places I have ever eaten. Excellent service and staff, incredible sandwiches, soups, and bakery items! The breads are to die for.
I love their fruit granola bread! And they certainly have gone above and beyond in their service making sure I had my bread “fix.” I am beyond impressed with their bread AND their service. You cannot do any better than Old Mill Bread Company.

Honey wheat is great! Also the tomato herb and cheese is wonderful to make panini sandwiches at home. Highly recommend!

We have been loyal customers since the Old Mill opened. It was sold a couple of years ago and we do miss the Berna family, but I am happy to say the quality and service does not disappoint. Owner and staff are very friendly and always looking to serve. Their new additions are delightful as well.The breads have been my "go to" small item Christmas gifts for many, many years. Keep up the great job Old Mill!

Love this place !!! Food is SO fresh with the homemade bread !! People there are so friendly and always make sure everything is perfect !! We discovered this place quite by accident as we were given a gift certificate-- now it's one of our favorite lunch spots !!
Recently moved to Arkansas from Massachusetts. My Husband & I was shopping at the Hobby Lobby & saw the Old Mill. We got the cranberry & pecan along with cinnamon swirl bread. We love it & can't wait to take family there when they come to visit.
We purchased a loaf of feta spinach bread at the River Market Sat. It is a truly outstanding bread, exceptionally fresh, and it absolutely has a wonderful flavor! It is our first purchase from this company but it will not be our last!
So happy you have opened a location in the River Market! I just enjoyed (devoured!) a half fiesta turkey sandwich and chicken con queso soup. They were both delicious and the little cookie was a nice surprise. We are so happy to have a new neighbor and good sandwich options in the River Market District.

Oh my word. I bought a tomato, herb and cheese loaf from the farmers market....I crave it in my sleep!! I love fresh bread, almost to an obsession and I am obsessed with this bread. I hope I can buy more before I move away from arkansas!!!

Superlative pastries, sandwiches and breads... you get what you pay for. While the price point is higher than some other local bakeries, Old Mill offers ridiculously good and healthy-for-you whole grain products. The spinach-feta rolls are a must, and if you have a chance to enjoy one, sample the everlasting gobstopper of all cinnamon rolls offered every morning. Oh, and try whatever breads are offered as samples each day.
Overall, this is the best bread in town. Always has been. However, service has been sliding recently, especially on the weekend. Always could count on Old Mill for Saturday morning treats but no longer. For some reason the new owners decided not to employ their bakers on the weekend, instead opting to bake what they could on Friday. Day old pastries? I think not. Scones are a lot smaller than they used to be too. Conflicted about this place. Recipes carried over from original owners mean quality baking, but questionable management practices worry me.
Have you ever had an Everlasting Gobstopper? Those jawbreakers seem to last forever. Well, I've found the everlasting gobstopper of cinnamon rolls, right here in Little Rock, at the Old Mill Bread and Flour Company. There are restaurants and bakeries that make larger cinnamon rolls, but none so twisted and curled as that at this Rock Creek Square eatery. Lo, one can spend half an hour unrolling the handmade, textured sweet thing, savoring each recently warmed bite, getting sugar and cinnamon everywhere.
Got to-go here today, the service is excellent and very fast! I had the 1/2 sandwich & 1/2 salad! So incredibly tasty! It comes with a salad, roll, sandwich, and cookie! You won't be disappointed!!
"...what he said!" I agree with all the eight other reviews currently in stating that this is the best bread in town! I got the fruit, nut, granola bread today and it was awesome. The brownies and cookies I bought for the kids didn't necessarily do much for me, but they were great they tell me. It's THE BREAD!
Great Sandwiches and Bread. I've dined at Old Mill 7 or 8 times in the past 4 years, with the most recent being a couple of weeks ago. And in each of those visits I received fast, friendly service; clean, up kept restaurant; and delicious, fresh baked bread.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a great cafe breakfast or dinner.
Wondearful food and phenomenal breads. Give yourself extra time if going during busy hours because they can take a while.

LOVE the breads!. Absolutely love the varieties and quality of the breads!!! The scones are pretty awesome too. Best bakery I've found outside of Europe and well worth the drive. Will definitely become a regular customer.
Nice choices. I have stopped at Old Mill and picked up bread many many times, and ALWAYS end up sampling something warm and fresh from the oven with soft butter as you order. The Cranberry pecan bread is one of my favorites, although, I don't think i have ever picked up one that didn't disappear.
They offer soup and sandwiches there with a small area to dine in. Quaint, and good.
In all seriousness, BEST bread in town. Try the feta spinach bread.
BEST BREAD IN TOWN. The sandwiches are awesome. Can't go wrong here. The bread is incredible especially the sesame wheat.
Sometimes it is slow at lunch.
