Best icecream in town, they always have unique rotating flavors. I would visit every day if I could. The salted Carmel and Aztec chocolate are amazing.
Fresh local-made ice cream in unique flavors comes from Loblolly Creamery, and this is the best place to enjoy it. The old fashioned marble-topped counter, tile floors and antique barback are all fantastic -- but it's ridiculously good flavors such as salted caramel, watermelon sorbet and (I kid you not) collard green banana that keep people returning.
Heaven is real.. If you like ice cream and you haven't been to Loblolly (or at least tried their fixins from their truck or at any other location serving it up) you have to go. I am an emphatic Loblolly Lover and they by far have the best ice cream I have ever tasted. ever. double vanilla...and I am a chocoholic, but man that double vanilla is good. It's all good and the store is cute as a button too!
Amazing little place. The ice cream was amazing!!! but the kicker was two bowls with a scoop a little bit bigger then a golf ball, was 8 bucks. was it good yes! would i eat there again? yes. i will just be prepared for when the bill hits next time.
I like going to this place. They hve a nice selection of their own homemade ice creams (i really like the sorbets). Their sodas are also great, its an old fashioned soda fountain and the only on I know of around. The soda jerk will make it for you right there behind the counter.
I’m of a generation that only knows of soda fountains from old movies and the kitschy recreations that are more like stage sets than places with any real atmosphere.
Really charming place to enjoy some coffee. Had mine with a few drops of CBD oil (for extra $1). Scones were delicious. Can shop for vegan / other products (soaps, toys made from recycled plastic, farming/food books, salsa, etc.). Staff super nice and helpful when asking about some of their less conventional products that probably wouldn't find in typical grocery stores. Cool place!
Support Local! Stong Tea.
Adorable little environmental and health conscious gift store with a tea bar. Perfect for me! They have items from eggs to mineral sunblock.
I love green, white and floral tea and drink it hot or iced almost every day so I was in heaven to see the varieties for unsweeten iced tea. Unsweet tea is hard to find in Arkansas.
Mine was Lavendar tea which was much much stronger than what I normally drink but the ice helped water it down a bit. The only reason why it is not 5 stars.
Now I know where to go if I am looking for a healthy products while supporting a locally owned business.
This is one of my favorite shops to frequent on Main Street. It's got an amazing selection of loose leaf teas and local goods. I often will grab an iced tea and sit outside when the weather is toasty. I often buy my teas (earl grey is my favorite) from here as well as honey when I visit. The whipped apple pie honey is my recommendation. They also have natural cosmetic goods and jewelry, though these can be a bit pricey. It's right next to loblolly creamery so it's in a great location!
The baristas are so friendly and helpful! They have so much cool merchandise as well.
I absolutly love this store! The staff is awesome lots of great unique items. I shop here for my natural hair products by Nakia Amour which is one of my favorite products! The pre-conditioning is hands down my favorite products keeps my shining for days. Also great to shop during Christmas holidays she has the cutest bags!!! She is also a LR local!! Catch her at the Whole Foods answering questions about natural hair.
Stopped in with a friend to get a cup of tea. Perused the store, found a few things that I liked. Got some recommendations for where to eat in the area. All in all we accomplished what we intended. They are constantly updating their merchandise a significant portion of which consists of local artists and holistic organic lotions oils, aromatherapy, and so on. They have a nice selection of children's toys and clothing like scarves or pins, refrigerator magnets, and just little knick knacky sort of things. They also expanded their ice cream section which used to be in the store 2 the building next to them, and I highly recommend visiting it when you get the chance.
I SCREAM! for ice cream. With seasonal flavors that will surprise your taste buds all year 'round this is the ice cream soda fountain you will make special return visits to. Loblolly is delicious! When you aren't scooping up happiness browse a store that's filled with unique consignment items from local artisans and other great eclectic and fun/useful items. Close to other cool shops, this is a stop for locals and day trippers!
