First visit. You make your own bowl, meats, veggies, and sauces. Choose starch item...they cook and you get nice bowl of Mongolian style lunch or supper.
Prices reasonable. Service was great! Clean too. Solid 7 this visit.
First time here. I really liked it. Everything was good. I'd go back.
Agreed with other comments. This location is not well taken care of and hope fellow commenters give the location off 1604 and Gold Canyon a shot, they do a great job
Dirty!!!. I love Mongolian BBQ!!! But I don't like this place. my friends and I decided to try this place before a movie and when I went in and walked to the food area I decided to skip dinner completely. It was a total mess and it made me lose my appetite. Not good at all. I'll never go back.
Great stuff, this.. I visit this location at least a couple of times per month. The wide selection of both ingredients and sauces (and full bar service) makes this place well worth the trip. Never a problem with the service itself, the wait staff is always checking to make sure your glass never runs empty.
One caveat, though: Try to visit during non-peak hours, as this place gets very busy, especially during lunch. If you have less than an hour to spare, this is probably not your best option; the lines and cooking times tend to run long. The best time to go is when you're in the area shopping, and have the time to enjoy the food and conversation.
Very Addictive!. Well worth the wait on Fri & Sat nites.. it's must go to place.
Mongolian Warrior Food. I think its amazingly cool that a place gets you to go through a line, pick out your food items, then hand it to the cook. Wish I could have done this in High School. All the kids in my family just absolutely LOVE this idea and they LOVE eating here. Even the pickiest eaters know EXACTLY whats going in the bowl. My niece (Little Ms. Picky Eater.) gets Chicken and asks for rice. Thats it. (I guess that would be Chicken & Rice. Hmmm. New Kids Meal Idea?) And she smiles all through the meal. I like it too, and get to make it just like I like it, which is I usually try to mimic the Dan-Dan Noodles from Pei Wei. Which I've never been able to actually do, but it's fun trying. (My 1st time I used WAY too much spice! Woo! Be careful.) Service is very friendly, the atmosphere is typical strip-center restaurant style with some Mongolian Warrior stuff hung around the place and Ben's right, the single bowl price makes these meals a value. The location off 218 & 1604 is less crowded, so parking here at the Forum can get a little congested but its not unmanageable. I know almost nothing about Mongolian Warriors, but I know they sure ate good. Even the kids.
Fun and flavorful!. I enjoyed this place and was very full when I left. What a great selection of meats, veggies, spies, and sauces!! Just be easy on the pepper if you can't handle hot stuff. Very affordable too for the amount of food you get! This is a spot I'll def be going back to again!
Yummy. Everything was fresh and tasty, and lots of variety. Just wish the bowls to put the 'fixins' in were bigger. Definitely will be going back!
Pretty good. Must try it again when it's not so busy!
Good, but I prefer Fire Hut at Northwoods. Better flavor and not a chain!
This restaurant is good, but they really need to turn up that vent over the grill. The smell, which is not so good, when you walk in is very strong. Plan on smelling like this until you take a shower and change your clothes.
Nice buy up idea. I really like the Mongolian BBQ places, so I had to try Genghis Grill. It's much the same as the others, but one thing I do like you don't have to pay the all you can eat price if you only get one bowl. Interesting idea. Good, pretty quick considering the style of restaurant and friendly staff. Worth a try.
I love the food here. It is such a simple concept but effective. Throw what you want in the bowl and they will cook it for you on their massive grill. However, that grill does wonders and their ingredients are top notch so the food comes out tasting great. The cute old Asian waitress was a plus in this location too lol
My boyfriend and I love it here!! We come here at least 2-3 times a month. It's difficult to feed my daughter (there's no kids menu/kid friendly options). But otherwise, the food is delicious every time!! The staff is super awesome!!
I loved it. They had so many selections especially in the meat section. The scallops were amazing. I would get a spicier sauce if I went back. Great job guys.
