Looked very promising and had a long line. Waited about 45 minutes for lunch on a Sat. Great atmosphere and great service. The food was a little disappointing. We got a scramble and a patty melt type sandwich. Also got a Matcha drink. The drink looked better than it tasted. The sandwich was overly salted which took away from the taste. The fries were also undercooked. My best guess is they are known more for breakfast. This is what I would try I go back. I would also add, it was a bit pricey. That was a bit of a surprise.

Finally after multiple times of walking by and line out the door. We got up early and managed to walk in and got seated right away. Tried the country fried steak with potatoes and eggs. It was really good first time I had it be like a real steak too and I kinda enjoyed that. Potatoes super nice. Tried a bit of my ladies French toast might have to get that on its own next time. Big plus they have fresh OJ. Will deff be back to try alot more things I saw on the menu. Real friendly waiter too.

We went here Friday before Mother’s Day for a brunch and thankfully we went a little early because the place started getting busy. (Expect a wait time most likely) the food was delicious and good portion sizes. I got the Bloody Mary which was very good along with a traditional breakfast. Everyone liked their food, the service was great also. The patio was nice and open overall I really enjoyed it. I definitely will be going back. Highly recommend 👏🏼👏🏼

Breakfast portions are huge and flavorful. Try to get there early. The wait times can be up to an hour and once seated 20 minutes before our order was placed. Our server was great, and she apologized for the delays. Once we ordered, our food was delivered to the table within 15 minutes. Not bad for a crowded Saturday. We enjoyed hamburgers on sour dough, the big breakfast sandwich, and the corned beef with scrambled eggs.

the interior of monica's livermore is quite modern and intimate which i really appreciate. they also have a covered outside seating which is perfect for the warmer summer/fall days. the staff and vibes of the restaurant were friendly and lively which i really appreciate. the drink (bloody mary - ofc) and food (cali benedict) are my usual safe go-to options which both were yummy. i think if you're looking for a reliable and safe option then id say this is the perfect spot for you. tips: - there's no private parking lot available but there are many street parking available nearby/closeby - it's located on the corner so it's easy to spot and locate - extensive menu that you can choose from for breakfast or lunch!

Great service and delicious food! Went here with my sisters for brunch and we all loved the experience. Staff was accommodating and just the right amount of attentive. We got the biscuits (with a side of gravy), berry French toast, California Benedict, and bacon waffle. Honestly, I would get all of them again! Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area (or if you’re not)!

This place just became my top brunch place. Honestly, I think when I looked it up it had 4.4 stars which is underrated. Our server was very nice and gave good suggestions on the menu. I went with the suggested Spaniard omelette and country potatoes and enjoyed it a lot. If anything it needed some more cheese. I drank a michelada, it was exactly how I like them. For dessert I ordered a maple bourbon eclair and it was fire! We did wait about 30 minutes and the place had a line outside, but I'm glad I waited. The burgers looked so good I'll be back to try lunch soon.

For Sunday brunch expect to wait at least 15 min to get seated. We were seated outside and even they have heaters was a little chilly. Food was great, service was also good but was hard to eat with the flies around the food. I am very picky about flies but my friends were in. Drinks good too.

Went here on Sunday morning for a breakfast and wait was almost 45 mins since it is crowded due to farmer's market on Sundays. Spread is great, you can almost order everything you can eat for breakfast. We ordered custom omelette and gravy biscuit. Both were tasty and adequate quantity. Except for the toast were little burnt. Their coffee mocha was excellent. Very hot and very big mugs. Coffee lovers should make it a point to order a cup. They have ample space outside with heaters so it's fun to sit outside even when it's cold.

Great brunch spot. First time dining at Monica's. The food and portions did not disappoint! The burgers are huge and the sandwiches are packed with meat and toppings. Kids pancakes were made in the shape of Mickey and more than enough in terms of portion size.

Great spot for brunch Reservations recommended Large outdoor eating area set up with heating lamps and tarps so it was quite comfortable. Inside eating also available but outside is larger Ordered: 📍 Mimosa 📍 Coffee 📍Chilaquiles 10/10 🥰 📍 French Toast w/ berries & lemon curd 10/10 The Chilaquiles were the best I've had, already craving them again! Nice not rushed, we didn't make reservations so had a 40 minute wait but the farmers market was set up so it worked out perfectly but her that in mind especially for weekends

My Mom, sister and myself enjoyed a Sunday brunch at Monica's yesterday. The food was tasty and served in reasonable time, considering weekends are very busy for this popular restaurant. Parking was easy, even with a Farmers Market on the street and the busy restaurant. I did park a few blocks away but I dont need or want to be right in the middle of things. I think part of the street was closed anyway because of the market. This area is also partly residential besides businesses so be aware of that. Luis was our server, he was attentive and helpful. He asked questions to help clarify our order and was a happy guy. Our wait time was an hour and 45 minutes. This was at 11am on Sunday, we knew it would be busy so it was not a problem. We meet often in Livermore and the Main street area (one block over) has plenty of shops and people watching to occupy some time. The hostess takes a name and cell number then txts when it's time to be seated, it's very streamlined. AND there was a fresh Farmers Market going on in the street that Monica's occupies. Wow! Bakery items, lovely fresh fruit, and veggies, honey, cheese... all looked very good. Mostly food but also some jewelry, some handmade items. Kettle Korn. Had to resist, it was tough. Monica's has big outside heaters for cool days. Oh.... and it IS pet friendly. How nice. I'd give them another star for that if I could. Small amount of dining inside, most is outside in a covered area. Plenty of space between tables, we sat by the cutest Dalmation pupper and a small terrier. The owners kept them occupied and quiet. I recommend this restaurant, it's a fun dining experience, fabulous food- much of it named after California cities and areas that are familiar to myself and my family. I'd say you will be happy ordering whatever you desire, they serve breakfast and lunch all the hours they are open.

Before I ordered breakfast I had asked my waitress to give me some recommendations. After a few different recommendations. I settled on a chicken fried steak with the country potatoes. All I have to say is I clean my plate. Food was delicious absolutely will be going back trying something different.
