First time here and loved it. The wild salmon tacos were amazing. Prices are very reasonable.
I LOVE Rubios and enjoy eating my California Chicken Bowls�.....
Food has great quality. There are few aspects that need to improve to post a five star rating. Everytime I visit, I feel that tables have a sticky feeling to them. It could be the material they are made of, or the cleaning solution being used.
Lots of salsa choices made fresh daily. Mango lemonade is unique and is always available to pair with great Mexican inspired plates.
Update July 2019: Everybody say it with me, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! These people that work here are beyond kind! I cant believe how great they are to their customers. If I could, I would give this place 100 stars. Absolutely the only place I get lunch at no because they are the best. And the food is always AMAZING! I cant er enough of this place! I have tried almost everything on the menu and nothing has ever disappointed. YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!!!
April 2019:Super amazing food every time I go there! They also are super fast with their service and always get my order right. Love having this place down the street from where I work.

Actually very pleasant experience and have been there a few times now.
Very fresh, good tasting ingredients that are well put together. The establishment is clean and I have to say that they are also very friendly and attentive.
I have noticed something that is going on in MANY OTHER Livermore restaurants and that is the food is NOT very fresh however at this place food is fresh tasting and appears to be very good quality.
The only thing I could suggest regarding Rubio's is that the menu can be a little hard to get what you actually want and the menu is a little difficult to navigate, however they are more than happy to make it for you, however you would like it. I might also suggest a better combination plate selection as a way to ease ordering for them and also for the clientele.
All in all though I will state this that it is probably one of the best tasting Mexican food restaurants in Livermore and that includes full service dinning restaurants also.
I have been to a few other places here and have been largely disappointing by the quality and the freshness of the ingredients something that this place doesn't have to worry about as of yet.
I truly hope that this remains a standard in their practices and that they don't get lazy or bow down to lower prices for lessor quality ingredient and stay vigilant with their housekeeping. Keep up the good work and stay fresh and friendly!
Great place if you like fish (or so I'm told). I love the sauce on the cheese enchiladas, and my daughter loves the churros and brownies.
It's a chain restaurant, of the "fast casual" type. Small selection of Beer and wine, and they have Mexican coke!
Love Rubios! The staff was so friendly and helpful. My son spilled his drink all over the table and floor and a couple employees rushed to clean it up and gave us a new one. The food is just as good as it is at any location and I'm excited to go back!

Place is very clean. The food was great. The chicken and steak was really good in tacos and burritos. I'm not big on fish but after this I will be back to try some.
The two taco tasting plate is my go to. I always get the salsa verde shrimp and mahi mahi tacos. I've tried the California bowl here with shrimp and that was pretty good. Look on their website for coupons before you go.
We go once every 2 weeks.

I love Rubio's! I always get the California bowl. In my opinion their bowls are way better than the bowls you get at Chipotle. Whenever I go, I always receive great service and great food!

Bring your coat...they have the air conditioner blasting after12 or 12.30. Its way too cold.
Sometimes music is too loud and its hard to talk to your friends.
