Update: 8/4/23 Bathrooms have a sewer smell, which might be the toilet seal gone bad or some problem with the connection to the pipes below, we're not plumbers, so not sure. Building owner needs to take care of this, as it's been going on for a very long time. Bathrooms themselves have soap, toilet paper, & paper towels, so that's a good thing.
Counter staff is always polite & friendly. It's not the employees' fault that the owner of the restaurant or building owner isn't taking care of this problem with the sewer smell. Food was good, freshly prepared, good portions, which along with soap, TP, & paper towels is why we're giving 4 stars now.
9/2022: Associate at counter was polite & friendly. Women's bathroom had no toilet paper, paper towels on a prior visit, & needed cleaning. This is the same bathroom that employees that prepare food are using, so our family never feels comfortable when a bathroom in a restaurant isn't clean. Without paper towels, freshly washed hands that touch doorknob negate having washed your hands. We really want to see staff that prep & cook food wearing masks & gloves that are change out whenever they leave their workstation even if they're not currently required. Gloves go a long way in preventing spread of disease, food poisoning, etc.. We threw away our meal (take out) after seeing a cook wiping their face without gloves on & then adding produce to our food.
Delicious, fresh burritos with lots of chips and salsa. If traditional Mexican food sounds a bit too greasy, Baja Fresh might be the ticket! It's especially good on hot summer days. And the slightly higher prices over Chipotle are worth the unlimited chips and salsa.
Baja Fresh is pretty consistent for not-fsst food but close restaurants chain.
Actually, that's understating the food which is very good. The rest of it is typical chain atmosphere and service.
My go to is the Burrito Ultimo with chicken. Mostly die to the savoety veggies inside. Bit I Aldo really enjoy the Baja tacos with chicken which are close to street tacos.
Good food. Nice employees. Really awesome to dine in and they check on us. Delicious food. Saw plenty of ppl get their food quick for tske out and we got our food in 5 kins for dine in. Great place. Will come again.

Always a great experience going into this Baja Fresh. And, as expected the service, food & atmosphere did not disappoint.
Upon my entrance I was immediately greeted by the manager & a worker that was sweeping the floors. The mgr. offered to take my order immediately & even proceeded to ask if I had any questions regarding the menu. After ordering my food...she offered me everything that should've been offered when ordering a meal from there, i.e., If I wanted a drink? The type of salsa I wanted w my meal, etc. I was very pleased w the thorough process/customer service I received from the manager...she was extremely professional from beginning to end of my visit there at Baja Fresh.
Also, I will add as a side note that while I was there I did not once see one of those workers standing around once during my visit. It was obvious that these workers worked hard & took their jobs serious. I appreciate that as a patron. So thank you to the employee's there!!ππ―π. Your hard certainly shows in your store location!
And, finally the last thing I will add is that I had to use the restroom prior to my departure and even the bthrm was exceptionally clean..to the point of it even smelling as if it was just recently scrubbed down. Bonus!!
So, in my overall experience of my visit to Baja Fresh in Livermore...I would give it a solid 10+!!
And, that includes my meal/the food as well ;). I don't think you will be disappointed if you choose to dine here.

My go to lunch spot. Food is always fresh and staff are speedy and respectful.
Always like the food and selection at BF. Wish they kept the open salsa bar. Darn you COVID.
Pretty good food and as the name states... very fresh!
Food is always really good! Especially the shrimp! I look forward to eating there every time. The people working there are very friendly. Good salsa selection too.
The only downside is if you are dining in, no matter where you sit, be prepared to either be harassed by a fly or be sitting next to a dead one haha
The food is excellent and prepared fresh. The employees are always kind and provide good service each time I go. I appreciate the food is always consistently good. Good portions also.
As always food and service was excellent. My wife, son, and I went to eat lunch there and Martha greeted us with a warm and friendly smile. Team members were working in the kitchen with hustle and efficiency. Received our order within 7 minutes and tasted great. Once again Martha great job to you and your staff.
Delicious food. Great portions too. I highly recommend the chicken fajitas!

Love the salads here always fresh with kicks of flavor. My favorite stop when I'm in the area.

Iβm not sure about all Baja Fresh locations but this one is AWESOME! Martha always has a smile (even behind the mask) when customers come in. The rest of the crew is clean cut n very nice. Stop in n say Hi to Martha and get a Fresh, Hot, Great meal!

Our family actually really loves this Baja Fresh location. We usually come in the late afternoon and all the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They always take our $5 off coupons and never give us any problems.
The food is always delicious and well prepared. Last time we were there, I ordered a burrito but was given two tacos instead. When I made them aware of the mistake they profusely apologized and got me my burrito very quickly.
The eating area and bathrooms are all very clean. Salsa bar is well stocked and always tastes fresh.
We go here about 2 times per month and will keep going back! Thanks!
Love this place. We always get greeted with a smile from a friendly woman who works the front counter. The food is freshly cooked when you order and the cooks wear gloves. (Yes, that's important to me) Their salsa bar is always full and clean. I would definitely recommend Baja Fresh in Livermore. π
