Four-star rating, but I firmly believe this place has five-star potential, so we'll be back. We even joined their little frequent-eaters VIP club, or whatever they call it :) First time here, wife and I came around 9 pm on a Saturday night. Place wasn't too busy, and they had closed off a couple of areas and were seating what customers there were in one part of the restaurant. It was a little bit noisy - people, overhead music - but not intolerably so. It's probably more a sign of my no longer being a 20- or 30- something with mild hearing loss that I found it annoying. Our server was good, very attentive, quick on her feet, awesome with refills, chatty in a friendly-not-obnoxious way, and seemed to go about her business confidently and surely. The kitchen was REALLY slow getting our food out, but she kept us apprised and refilled, which is really all she could do. The menu is excellent, and I'll have to go back many more times to try all the burgers and poutines I want to try, but we ordered relatively light, since it was a 9 pm dinner. Wife had the fish taco and the blackened shrimp taco. Fish taco was brilliant, but the kitchen screwed up the shrimp taco - she had asked for no mango salsa, but they also a.) left off the cilantro lime crema, and b.) the "slaw" was actually just plain (dry) green cabbage, so her taco came with shrimp and dry cabbage - no lube. Meh. But we told the waitress and she took it off the check (we didn't ask her to, and my wife still ate it, so I thought that was a good and appropriate response.) Tacos $6 each, not too bad at all. I had the Rochester Wrap, which is a jalapeno/cheddar wrap stuffed with chicken and chopped romaine with a spicy ranch sauce. It wasn't exciting, but I didn't order it for the excitement factor; it was really tasty though. I got a side of baked beans with it/ As you can see in the pic, the color is kind of weird, but that's because they don't load their beans up with bottled BBQ sauces or ketchup like most places do. They had kind of a tangy flavor - they were pretty good. My entree + side came in at just under $13, not too bad at all. Place is local, super close to us, so we'll be back, because we see potential. Super A++++++ kudos for having a FULLY ILLUSTRATED ONLINE MENU. EVERY ITEM.

Bull and Bear for me is like old reliable nowadays. Long time consumer of Bull and Bear food and likely forever going back. Appetizers are always great. Dinner is delicious with a good selection of burgers, wraps, and salads. And they have a lot of sides to choose from and we've never been disappointed. Everything remains fairly priced and they have been transparent about pandemic pricing and challenges. Staff has always been kind and courteous with service being prompt. The atmosphere is chill, they have a bar inside and outdoor seating options weather permitting. Update, ordered more food, outcome, still amazing! The fry character is a fantastic shareable! The seasonal turkey burger was tantalizing. And my wife was able to get a lettuce wrap version of the California burger which as always was amazing! Go eat here it's great! And Enjoy!!!

I live near by and this is our regular spot when we don’t want to cook and just want good food that isn’t going to completely empty our bank account. Food is amazing! I always love there food, atmosphere is a loud for me (bar environment) I’m getting old :( parking can be a bit rough, there lot could use work and there parking spots are small.

Food and service was Good! However, the price for a hamburger and fries was a little inflated. Almost $50.00 for 2 adults....just iced tea to drink, no appetizers. It was a nice place, good atmosphere, good flow of guests....

Went for lunch on a Wednesday. Service could have been better but was not bad. Burger was cooked good, fries could have used another minute in the fryer. Clean, nice place. A good burger joint. I would go back again. I went back and the service was excellent. Taylor was our server. I gave it another star, they earned it.

Clean setting. Great burgers and tots!!! Waitress was friendly and attentive. When we first got in and had 15 min wait, we were told we could go to bar or wait where we were. So we went to bar. Stood there quite a bit with no bartender behind bar. Waited for a bit then moved to the entrance to just wait again. Was re-greeted by different hostess. Finally sometime came up to bar and we got drinks which were delicious. Wasn't too much after we got seated. Everything else was great.

Said that we may come back in my original review and we eventually did. I'd say the prices haven't risen as much as other places and it seems they now have better cooks. I apparently ordered the same meal (drunken chicken with garlic parmesan fries) but got raspberry iced tea instead. The tea was a much larger cup and that was nice. I'm not a tomato eater and the menu didn't state tomatoes on the sandwich, but it came with one. Minor thing though. Bigger issue was that it needed more of the sauce. Not a ton more, just about 50% more as the flavor was mostly lost. The chicken was very well cooked though, nice and juicy. Same note remains though, just about any side you really want is an additional charge. But the garlic parmesan fries are worth it!

Very happy with our meal, already planning our next trip back. I had the Jambalaya Mac & Cheese, and a raspberry lemon drop martini, my guest had a burger with waffle fries, we also got the Fry-cuterie, absolutely Delicious!

The food was good. Service was even BETTER! If you visit, I highly recommend asking if Tonya is on and if you can be seated in her area! Our server was absolutely the BEST!! She made the entire night worth the trip! Super personable and excellent at her job! In fact, she's probably way too overqualified to be a server. Not only will she recommend what is good, she will make 100% sure that the cooks got your order right! Bull & Bear would be lost without that girl!

Went with 5 people on a Sunday. Got right in. The 3 app special and 4 meals (one was split) for $90. Wife and her mother split a giant salad and I got the slider trio. Food was great all around and service from Anthony was excellent. One if the sliders was incorrect but they corrected the issue quickly with an apology. Apps - we got the bangers, cheese sticks, and fried pickles. Cheese sticks were more like grilled cheese and a little weird. Wasn't a fan. My son ordered 10 wings for dinner and they were big and crispy. Daughter ordered the black and blue burger with the salt potatoes. Everything was great and I'm excited to go back soon.
