This is not fancy date night. This is a great, small "local" bar. That doesn't mean you're not welcome if you don't live in the neighborhood. "Local" means 90% of the patrons know each other and frequent the establishment. It's very friendly and the service is really good. I've always had a good time here.
Stopped in here after a bartender named Angel at O Malleys tried to charge me for a water after I spent over $100 there. This place was full of life and good vibes. A few people told me they have been coming here for many years and I was told the food is good. I didn't arrive til 12:30 so just had beers and laughs while watching people play a dart tournament. This place is serious about their darts. This will be one of my new spots as I am new to the area

Been coming here my whole adult life even after I moved to dearborn heights I still skip all the other bars to go to the bench , ain't nothing like it .
I absolutely 💯 think the Bench Pub has one of the best burgers in Livonia!!!! I have been there many times and have never been disappointed in their burgers and munchies...try this place when you want a really good cheeseburger !!!
A locals hang out spot. Beer is great and cheap, and they have liter mugs! Food was delicious, and our server was very friendly. They have darts and a juke box as well. Definitely will be back.
