My familyand I have been waiting for an hour for the food. First time at this restaurant. Probably the last Madie or server speed by about ten minutes ago and said it would be right out. Very poor management. Good service only goes so far. There really is food coming? Not just the bill? Free desert! That helps. Still haven't seen the food. Food finally got here. Hot and yummy. Went from one star to five. Maddie made it five. Management better give her a raise.
Amazing quaint restaurant, with tons of Character. Good food and amazing (low) prices! We enjoyed our dinner and our waiter (Casey?-the new guy-2nd day on the job)!!!!
This little gem is a must visit if you are in Logan, Utah. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere takes you right back into history. Loved it! Will definitely visit again if I'm ever back in the area.

Great atmosphere, employees and the food is amazing. Great size portions too. You will not leave there hungry.
The best housemade truffles, icecream sundae bar and love their dinner rolls ~ always eat well here
We had a family dinner there Saturday night...fabulous...roomy! I don't like being squished into too many tables...very peaceful and nice...
Tasty food and great setting. The Monte Cristo is a must have and the cherry pop is delicious.
Great place for a memorable event. Excellent food and people.

The best food... I've grown up eating there. A tradion of logan.
Amazing place! They serve really good food i have gone their with my friends and they serve really good and delicious food and i have tried the sandwich here and it's really good and the coffee that they serve is also really good and very good customer service the staff is really nice and friendly.
Good normal food at pretty cheap prices. We had the filet mignon. It was tender and flavorful. It's a full meal served with salad or soup, choice of potato, roll and veggies. Great old fashioned soda fountain. Service was fantastic. A great time.
Awesome food and service. Get the bluebird chicken and an ironport. You won't be disappointed.
Great American homestyle food. the atmosphere is cool, since it is in an old and well finished building. One downfall was that the staff was a little hard to deal with. The wait staff didn't seem properly trained and since we were there for a large party event when we tried to deal with the management they were not very accommodating.
Good food. Their food is good. Kind of a higher-class cafeteria-style food, but still really good. They have some specialty drinks that are really good too. I would suggest getting their cream soda.
Very reasonable price for the food and service you receive.
I am tempted every time by their chocolates behind the counter when I go up to pay the bill.
Cute, novelty Grandma and Gramp's place. Didn't have high hopes but figured I should try it to have my own opinion and I was actually surprised! Salad is okay, the ranch dressing there is so good. Definitely a home-style cooking kind of place with cute soda/ice cream bar and candy shop in the entrance. I'm not from Logan or Utah and I like this place. A good throwback to the old times and eat yummy stick to your ribs food if you had an American grandma or mom. Hubs had the Reuben and loved it, I had a chicken and pineapple something or other and it was good, just too much sauce but the pineapples were so good.
Service has really gone downhill. This place always has kitchen problems, mixed-up orders and sometimes eternity long waits for meals. But the food is consistently pretty good. Not outstanding, but solid. Their fresh rolls are always tasty. No entree really stands out. It's a Logan tradition for a family night out. So it's definitely more nostalgia than their food that's a thumbs up from me. Especially since the past few years the service here has fallen to a nightmarishly low level.
Fun atmosphere, good food, slow service, kid friendly. I like the Bluebird chicken, club sandwich, the rolls and jam, the fun drinks like cherry iron port. If you go expect to be there a while but enjoy the antiques and history of the building.
Their chocolate is dang amazing and its food alone was amazing! I had the special at the time and it was outstanding! Plus their facility is original and one of a kind!
I am reluctant to say that I did not have high expectations going into this restaurant. But with that said I was pleasantly surprised. The food took me by surprise ay how fresh and well prepared it was. It wasn't stunning by any means but it was solid. The veggies were fresh and my steak was cooked to a nice medium rare. Our service was awesome. Our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were surprised to find out later that it was her first time serving. The history of the location and its interior was a bit eclectic and odd. But overall a good experience.
Wow! Huge portions, servers were all so so nice and smiley, food came out at a perfect speed! The prices were very fair! I will be visiting the Bluebird Restaurant each time I come to Logan.
Once a year we drive through Logan, and this year we happened upon the Bluebird.
What a lovely experience!
It was like entering another era long past. When you go in there is a long glassed counter with many delicious handmade chocolates and candy for sale.
Upon being seated you are given a delicious freshly-made warm roll and butter. Also, have some honey on your roll upon request.
The Bluebird offered many interesting lunch choices including chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes or many different sandwiches or burgers. They also have nice lunch specials with salmon or pork chops, etc. The prices are very reasonable as well. My freshmade burger with bacon, cheese, and avocado along with fries was under $9. Our lunch was delicious, and the service was excellent.
If you actually had room for dessert there were many different choices including a large selection of ice cream desserts and shakes. The dessert special today was banana cream pie for $1.50 for the generous slice.
We will definitely be back next time we are in Logan!
We got a tip to stop at the Blubird for a meal. We were not disappointed. Table service. Great menu and they have a full service icecream counter and a chocolate dipped candy counter. Historical, local, and full of charm!
I found myself alone on a Friday night, so I decided to stroll along main and find a nice place to eat. I saw the bluebird sign and immediately memories surfaced of dining there as a child. I entered through the nostalgic doors and was met with a smile and was taken to my seat. The service was excellent and the sirloin was cooked to perfection. That combined with the wonderful atmosphere and reasonable prices lead to a great experience.
Oh. My. Gosh. Heaping. Good. Fresh. Made with love. Old tyme soda bar. Taste the local made icecream sourced from dairy farms just down the road.
Such a cute place for a soda break or to order food. It had a very old time feel and was a fun and different experience for people that have never been to an old bar before. The soda was home made and high quality flavors and ingredients, totally worth the two dollars.
Had a small family dinner here to celebrate my daughter's wedding. The caterer did a great job with the food, and the ballroom was a lovely place for that special occasion.
I went here for an ice cream date with my husband and we got a brownie sundae to share. It was really tasty. It is in a good part of town and adds a lot of history to Logan.
We go there for dessert treats all the time. Very historic and great place to go if you've never been
Love the old-fashioned atmosphere with all the modern comforts. Very Charming. Great food great service. Would definitely go again and highly recommend this place. I have the avocado croissant and the English chips. Everything was wonderful. Others in my party had the Blue Bird Chicken and the shrimp cocktail. Both fantastic dishes. I will get the blooper chicken next time it's so good.
My cousins wedding dinner was held here. The service was great. All of the waiters were attentive and polite. The food was great except for the pasta which had a strange taste to it. Its a classic American style diner with lots of character. Definetly recommended if you are in the area.
First off, the food is amazing! This place was recommended by a family member who went to school in Logan. It doesn't look like much from the outside, as it has a typical old-school diner feel to it. But, don't be fooled. The menu is quite extensive and offers a wide variety of menu options. They also serve candy, treats, and various desserts. There is seating both upstairs and downstairs and a nice unique stairwell up to the second floor. There are several different dining/banquet rooms that are used for large parties, weddings, office dinners, etc. There is plenty of free parking in the back of the restaurant, along with a separate back entrance. The staff is great! They are super friendly and very knowledgeable about each of the food items and are always willing to offer suggestions depending on your mood.
Awesome vibe downtown and he bluebird chicken is fantastic. Good portions, decent service but you are eating there for the ambiance
