I went for dinner on Saturday night. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and fairly priced. I highly recommend this place if you like middle eastern food and you’re in the Lombard area.
The location is a little outdated. The food is affordable and tastes pretty good 👍🏾. My only criticism would be that the fries were cold and as if they were left overs and you have to pay for a side of their hot sauce. I would definitely go back for the food and friendly staff.

The Jerusalem Cafe is a charming Mediterranean-style dine-in restaurant that offers authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced food. The entree portions are generous, and the kebabs are especially noteworthy. I highly recommend trying the chicken shawarma entree with rice and vegetables, as it was absolutely delicious. The freshly squeezed juices are also excellent. Overall, this restaurant is a must-try, and I highly recommend it.
Hands down the best Mediterranean food in Lombard. Everything you want when ordering food from people who care about the quality. Delicious!
Jerusalem Cafe is a nice place to get a quick bite to eat. Sandwiches are fresh and delicious while the platters are large and generously proportioned. Prices are also exceedingly reasonable. The service is excellent but the ambiance leaves something to be desired. Recommended.
What s great local find in Lombard.
Lots of menu items. Needed more time to make a selection as it's order at counter. Pleasantly surprised when they served use our food at our table. Nice! Great portion size for gyro plate. Enough left over for lunch next day. Very tasty and authentic.
Reasonably priced. Generous portions. Good food. The owner’s kind.. it’s a Cute family restaurant. Very clean. We had a good experience.

I love this place. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced, fries are actually good (common deficit at a lot of places lol), and the family that runs this place is so wonderful and sweet. If you’re close by and hungry, RUN and get yourself a gyro or shawarma especially (my favorite) or really anything on the menu. ♥️

Excellent gyro plate with rice pilaf. Meat was tender with crispy edges. Make sure to get the red and green sauces, very fresh and has some good heat and flavor. Had this for the first time tonight and loved it. I usually get the hummus and shawarma with chicken which is recommended as well. Decent portions size.
The food was great - had kifta kebab and vegetarian combo. Everything was delicious. The person who brought us the food was kind. The person taking our order seemed in a hurry. Cordial but didn’t seem that enthused about us, as customers.
Plan to visit again. Seems like a popular place (busy but not crowded).
This was the first time eating this type of food but let me tell you it won't be my last. What a wonderful experience. They have a combination special from 11am-1pm and let me tell you it was so delicious I didn't leave a crumb. Take a look at my photo. It came with rice ,salad,beef kabobs, chicken, pitas. I highly recommend this restaurant for great food .$6.99 omg so much food. You have to put them on your bucket list. The owner is a very nice man ,you will see. Make your way over people you will love it
So so good! You get a lil bit of everything with their plates and the food is so flavorful without being greasy. Can’t wait to try more of their dishes
I'm IN LOVE with Jerusalem Cafe 😍 Ever since we moved here from the city, it's been my favorite place to enjoy a great meal at home on the weekends. And the restaurant itself is wonderful, too- just a welcoming spot for everyone that I take all my friends to when they visit. The falafel is to die for, super light yet crispy and garlicky. Fantastic hummus, and exceptionally well seasoned and seared meat and delicious baklava and fruit drinks. Highly highly recommend 😋😋😋
This place is phenomenal - great fresh food made to order, warm welcoming staff headed by Moussa (one of the three owners), and clean! Highly recommended if you are looking for a mouth watering experience of Middle Eastern food.
