This location recently opened up for breakfast. Holy Mackerel and Harry Caray's restaurants share adjoining space at the front of the Westin Hotel. Harry Caray's is definitely a five star restaurant (in my opinion). However, Holy Mackerel has a bit of work to do with their breakfast menu to attain the same quality.
Note: I have only tried the breakfast menu at Holy Mackerel. Maybe the lunch and dinner menu are a little better.

Had the New England Clam chowder and Beef Tenderloin Meat Loaf. Both were good but the meat loaf was delicious. I sat at the bar and service was incredible.

Nice restaurant waiters were extremely nice helpful and explained the menu very well although I cannot eat shellfish they had burgers on the menu that were awesome the Harry Carey burger was the best. My daughter had the salmon burger and she loved it.

I ate here two separate times during my trip. Once was for lunch and the second was for dinner. Both meals were pretty outstanding, but it is pricy. The burger I had for lunch was simply delicious and was everything you really could want in a burger. The steak I had was the 45 day, wet-aged, bone-in ribeye. This steak wall well prepared, cooked precisely how I wanted it (medium-rare), and was exceptionally juicy, tender, and flavorful. The sides left something to be desired and the side bread with dinner was so stale I could barely chew it. Bottom line, the main courses were delicious, but pricy.

Stopped by here for a Powerlifting competition. My friends and I stopped by here for breakfast. We ordered the breakfast sandwhich, breakfast biscuit sliders with bacon, sun rise skillet and the huevo rancheros wrap. Food here is delicious and prepared really well. The salmon was really fresh and the bacon here is quality. Prices are reasonable and the servers here are really friendly. The coffee here is decent and I'd rather come here than the over priced hotel Starbucks. I'll definitely be back in the future to try some of their lunch and dinner dishes.

Walter is amazing ! He’s a great bartender. Very personable! The food isn’t that great. Buffalo shrimp over a horrible salad as disgusting. Food is pricey!!

I was a little apprehensive to try this after seeing the not great reviews but I was not disappointed. I had the warm crab dip and the Sea Bass. Both were amazing! The sea bass was cooked perfectly and had great flavors. I also had some of the Moscato and it was wonderful. I will say it was a littl pricey (wine was $13) but I was very happy with the meal. My waitress Lauren was also GREAT!

dried tomatoes... also good. Atmosphere was comfortable.

Chilean sea bass was a hit. Smooth soft and lots of flavor.

Very friendly staff and quick service. Their lack of vegetarian options knocks their rating down for me. But on the flip side their vegetarian burger is excellent so that brought it back up some. Prices were more reasonable than I expected which was nice.

Before I begin my review I want to note that we have a diverse background in dining experiences that has refined our palates. After shopping during the holiday season, we happened upon Holy Mackerel! The dimly lit restaurant was adorned with rich Christmas decor adding to the ambience of modern class. We were immediately greeted by the hostess, who sat us in a booth per our request. Then, we were presented with both the Holy Mackerel and Harry Caray's menus. Shortly thereafter our server, who was quite knowledgeable, asked if he could take our drink order. The attentive service was balanced yet timely. From the Mackerel menu we ordered the salmon with rock shrimp potato hash, kasu marinated sea bass, and scallops. It is rare to taste melt in your mouth scallops, filet of salmon, and sea bass that was perfectly cooked. The pairings of each dish are spot on, but do not overpower the fish because entrees are not drowning in sauce or slathered with ingredients that mask the seafood taste. We did order wine, which was fairly priced compared to other restaurants we have dined at. Our party has returned to Holy Mackerel for a total of three visits, especially after dining at Reel Club in Oak Brook. Holy Mackerel's prices plus gourmet preparations exceeded our expectations compared to Reel Club, which we felt was overpriced for what we were served. There truly is something for everyone, since you are presented with both menus. In all of our experiences the food was palate popping, service attentive, and the experience gourmet. Lombard is lucky to have such a hidden gem!

This restaurant is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a special dinner, this place comes instantly to my head. Great and many types of food and a large menu.professional staff members, and pleasant vibes. In addition to that, the tariff is modest. I tell about this place with pleasure.
