I came here for carry out despite the iffy reviews because it was close and also offered Thai iced coffee. The food was ready in time and tasted pretty good. HERE'S THE PROBLEM. The iced coffee to -go was a plastic thermos filled with warm coffee and a plastic bag filled with 2 pounds of ice cubes. I cannot rationalize the thought process of any of this. Okay, so maybe they were out of large normal plastic to go cups so the hopefully wash out someone's personal water bottle and fill it with coffee. They fill it too much and forget the ice...why not pour some out?? It looked extremely sketchy. I was only brave enough to take one sip. It was extremely sweet. Everyone I shared this story with had a good laugh! Also the bathroom in the store is down a dark hallway almost impossible to see, and the forgotten dirty bathroom at the end. Yuck. Weird all around experience.

I honestly don’t understand the ridiculous amount of 1-Star reviews. I came here last week on a whim with a friend and ordered chicken pad Thai and pot stickers. I was quite pleased with the generous portion of pad Thai given and the pot stickers were delicious, if a bit small. The lady serving us was polite and the atmosphere inside the dining area was very calm and pleasant. Came back again a few days ago for takeout because their pad Thai has been the best I’ve had so far (I’m really hooked on pad Thai lately and have been trying it at different restaurants.)

Spicy Chicken Pad Thai was great( lots of chicken).). Ground Chicken Basil tasted amazing, but could have had more chicken. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere was a bit stale and uncomfortable. Would defiantly order To-Go next time.

Aside from the unwelcoming environment, the first time I ordered from here, my order was incorrect. Here is their description of Panang Noodles: Panang Noodles Delight
Spicy. Stir fried wide rice noodles topped with pea pod, bell pepper, green peas, and basil leaves with mix of Thai panang curry and coconut milk. All items on our menu can be made vegetarian, spicy or mild. NO TOFU OPTION AVAILABLE!
My order did NOT include pea pod, bell peppers, green peas, or basil leaves. instead, it had broccoli.
When we want Thai, we also go to Bambu Thai Cuisine in Elmhurst--this place is awesome! But we moved and tried Thai Sawasdee. Well, from now on we'll drive the extra miles to get what we ordered and better tasting food.

So, let me start by saying I have ordered from here quite a few times with no problems.That being said, this was absolutely the worst meal I have had from Grubhub. I ordered chicken satay that was so dry it was like jerky. I ordered medium spicey chicken green curry. I love hot stuff but this was way beyond medium. It had lots of old brocolli and mushy yellow squash in it? Awful. My girlfriend had the penang duck curry. It was chunks of duck bones with a little rubbery meat and skin. The skin added to all the grease floating at the top of it. Bad night? Different chef? For $50 for this little amount of food, I wont be taking a chance again. Go to Thipi Thai in Glenn Ellyn.

Excellent job! My wife and I stopped by for an ice cream next door. We saw their menu and was like ok give it a shot. Wow, foods amazingly good; pad Thai roll, seeew, basil fried rice and Tom kha soup so delicious. Papaya salad also great and cannot skip Thai iced tea. Love this hidden gem!

Outstanding padthai and spicy panang curry! Love the flavor; not too spicy but perfect amount of spices. The padthai had lots of topping and great tangy sweet and sour flavor. Topped with cilantro, just perfect! Personally I don’t like when some restaurants add green onion instead of cilantro. The green onions has very strong smell which I cannot stand it. Bring more appertizers next time please I know people love your food!

Best Thai restaurant! My family and I just moved to the suburbs and we've been looking for a good Thai restaurant, since my family and I love Thai food! This restaurant is the best Thai restaurant! I'm surprised by the reviews, because the food is delicious ! Theres only one waitress and she's very nice! and she actually remembers my family and I. My mom is lactose and tolerant and she remembered not to add milk to my mom's smoothie, with out me having to tell her we were very impressed! The waitress was so nice enough to give us free dessert. Yes, the restaurant is empty but, I highly recommend everyone to try it out. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. I'm so happy! I finally found a great Thai restaurant. Btw the smoothies are sooooo good!
