This is a really cute cafe in lodge decor. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the steaks, ribs nor seafood because the dinner menu doesn't start until 5:00, so we had to order from the lunch menu. We got the patty melt with potato salad and the club sandwich with fries. Everything was really good, especially the "homemade" potato salad. Really a good place to eat as long as you don't mind having lunch at 4:30.

Great food! We ordered Parmesan chicken pasta and spaghetti with meat sauce. Spend $80 with taxes and fee for 3 people (no drinks). Huge portions. I have more than half of my portion left. However, our waitress didn’t tell us about the card payment fee, and that salad was substituted by soup. It was important for me b/c I love veggies and try to have some with every meal. Overall we are full and satisfied. The cook is doing a great job!

Very comfortable and spacious sitting. Staffs are super friendly and nice. Food are decent, the chorizo scrambled eggs are delicious! Need a slight improvement on the English muffins tho. I recommend!

We stayed near Lone Pine while hiking Mt Whitney. We enjoyed tasty sandwiches and potato salad in Totem Cafe. They're just great! Very friendly staff.

Got the half rack of ribs and they were amazing with veggies and mashed potatoes. Was honestly surprised how good it was. Definitely recommend.. first time here. Lady that served us was also really attentive. Good experience overall

A very juicy, not over seasoned, hot steak was served. The side dishes were firm to the bite and very tasty, The beer was very tasty. That's what a steak should taste like, we'd love to go there again

This was just amazing, it was just what we needed as a stopover, good quality food, not too expensive and served quickly. The place consists of many interesting and retro details of the culture of the place. I highlight the excellent and attentive attention that made us feel at home. I really love cherry pie

We were headed across the street, but the restaurant was closed, so we came here to Totem Cafe. We shared a full track of Ribs, and our friend enjoyed fried chicken. The portion for the Ribs was huge and very tasty. We all enjoyed our dinner.

My wife and I just had the most epic breakfast at the Totem Cafe - she had a full breakfast and I had the burrito. Staff were so swift and attentive, piping hot delicious food, good coffee / tea and a fun chat. Even plugs for recharging after a few nights in the wild Alabama hills!

Pretty good burger and chicken sandwich. Great onion rings! Just felt over priced by about 20% for portion size. Service was fine and bathrooms very clean.

There is plenty of room in and out of the restaurant for seating. Really, the only limitation is with how many people are on duty to wait tables. The meals are delicious and reasonably proportioned. There are numerous signatures on the walls to inspect along with plenty of photos from past movies shot in the area. I ordered the veggie omelette and avocado toast all of which was quite nice. The one working waitress was a little overwhelmed from time to time.

I've been coming here for more than 20 years and it ALWAYS delivers an exceptional dining experience. Our server was very professional and friendly. I had a Veggie Omelette with avocado and salsa. One word. YUM! We also had sausage and scrabbled eggs. Both were a good, hearty breakfast. I can't wait to try their lunch and dinner options?

Stopped for a late breakfast. The churrezo scramble was outstanding, and the French toast combo was delicious. The outdoor seating was perfectly shaded to keep cool on a warm late summer morning. Service was a little slow but worth it for the great tasting breakfast.

Went here for breakfast with a group of 10 after summiting Mt. Whitney the day before! The aesthetic is unique but the food was everything we wanted. The totem scramble was delicious but the biscuits and gravy were some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was quick and friendly with everyone getting plenty of coffee and water refills. I would recommend for anyone looking for a breakfast spot!
