Went there to celebrate my husband and my birthdays. First time there and we had a wonderful time! The service was excellent as was the food. They didn't rush us at all, we had a nice table by a window with a small view of the Manhattan skyline. The need to trim down some of the trees outside. My husband had the bacon wrapped shrimp and I had the pork pot stickers for appetizer, all was delicious. Main course was General Tso Chicken and Beef cubes w Pork fried rice. Try the Shi Breeze as a cocktail awesome!! Our waitress was Eka, great service she also sang happy birthday to us when she brought out out dessert. Definitely going back again!

Took my wife for her birthday to SHI..All I can say it was so worth it. Amazing service, great food , and we just had a great time. Only issue I have was finding a parking spot. We will come back soon.

Good food in LIC but not sure if it’s worth the price for what you get - nothing really stood out. The frozen martinis were delicious and next time around I’d probably want to stick with sushi. The interior is beautiful and has a nice vibe to it so it’s perfect for a date night or a happy hour with friends.

As Canada was burning down, and the NYC air was more toxic than the average sludge I inhale, I decided to get sushi! The service was amazing and the food was great! I do feel it was a bit over priced but it’s a nice restaurant in a nice area right by the water and the park so you have to go into it knowing you’re paying for the vibe. Bathroom was pretty beat up but it works none the less. if you’re not easily impressed and have a complex then this may not satisfy you. If you want good food, you want to treat yourself to decent Asian food and then take a walk along the water before or afterwards then this is the spot!

We came here on a Friday evening and promptly got seated. The hostess was courteous and waiter was okay. The food is a bit overpriced for me but I think it’s mostly due to the area and location of the restaurant. We sat outside but could tell that it’s a very nice Chinese restaurant. We ordered the beef skewer and lycee calamari which were pretty good. Would have appreciated more for the price. For entree we got the orange beef and seafood crispy noodles which were both pretty good. Overall I’d recommend it but if you’re expecting Chinatown or Flushing Chinese food at the same prices, this isn’t it. It’s definitely more upscale and the prices are higher but not ridiculous.

This was not planned out. We were just walking, and we heard music. we went inside to check it out, and we liked the atmosphere. The music was unbelievable, the DJ was amazing, no talking or nothing, just music one song after another from all the way from the 80s music. I mean, he played it all kind of music spanish, R&B, hip hop techno, freestyle you name it,he played it he was an amazing DJ, the place friendly with great drink and great music, a great location to hang out with friends and have a good time. The crowd was an amazing, friendly place. We didn't order food, just drinks. But it was an amazing place to just chill and have a good time dance away the stress.

This place was excellent. Food was great, a vast variety of choices that were all top notch and tasted fresh. The Atmosphere was also great, the DJ was very impressive & played great music all night. The waitress was fast & efficient, and came at the right times to check up on our table. I personally would recommend the General Tsau, as the sweetness and crispiness was exceptional. As for dessert, I would have to go with the Creme brulee, the sweetness was just right and it wasn't very heavy at all. The only pet peeve I have is that parking is extremely scarce, consider taking an uber if you want to come here. But other than that minor issue, this place is a highly recommend.

Very reasonable prices for a great ambiance. Sushi was good; dishes from kitchen are okay. It was a pretty fair experience overall but we felt really rushed towards the end. Our table was cleared the moment we put our chopsticks down and the check came seconds later.. it wasn't busy either so I don't quite know what the rush was about..

My kids love this place. They are very friendly and have great food! Very friendly and accommodating with plastic plates, utensils and booster seats. I love the fried cauliflower, fried rice, lo-Mien, and chicken broccoli. Lychee martini is a great cocktail there too

Nice combination of Asian dishes here. Sushi was good but the BEEF with asparagus was the BOMB. Meat eaters will enjoy this tasty dish. Good portion and reasonable prices. Inside has nice dining. Service was fairly prompt. The owner was a joy to talk to and she was hospitable.

Well done "pan asian" food (mix of chinese, thai, japanese, singaporean and malaysian dishes). Pretty waterfront location and pleasant ambiance with plenty of natural light. Standouts included sweet chili sauce fish, lemongrass chicken and satay. I prefer my food spicier but everything here is flavourful and cooked well. They also have good sushi.

I went here for a little date on a Tuesday night with my fiancée and we loved it. The service was amazing, food was great, and beautiful views of eastern Manhattan. Will come back for sure. Good for small dates, groups, nice bar to watch games, all of it.

I went to this restaurant years ago. The decor were nicer, the detail and presentation on the food were a lot better. Now it seems just like a regular restaurant. The food still good depending on what your getting.

Shi Restaurant is a great place to go with friends and family for any special occasion. The interior design is really nice. The prices are affordable and the service is great. If you go during the day you can always walk outside by the water and if you go during night time is even better because you can see the city lights. This is a really great place and the food is always on point. This place is perfect for a family gathering around 12:30PM when they open because you can get the biggest table without having to wait and it makes you feel like if it was a private party.
