Was there recently for Big Jay's birthday and a Legion Of Skanks taping. Met some incredible people and comics. Had a crazy awesome night
What a great experience! We came here to see a comedy show and were pleasantly surprised that there was no cover and no drink minimum. Downstairs bar is tight but a fun space. We grabbed takeout (dining in is also an option) on our way out and very much enjoyed the food (Mexican).
Comedy club with true NY dive bar feel. They also serve food; the burritos are great. The trillvilla show on fridays is funny and a lot of fun.
This place is a lot of fun. On any given night there is a ton to do. I watched an open mic and it was a lot of fun.The beer and shots are pretty cheap, as well.
This place is amazing! The food is so great - the menu is big so there are lots of good choices and honestly, IT'S ALL GOOD. You can't beat the drink specials, and the staff are warm and welcoming. As much as a community space as it is a restaurant, the Creek has decent food, free comedy, and good daily specials. Happy hour is great too. Clean bathrooms with interesting wallpaper. Owner is very personable, which we like
One of the best places in all of the worlds of all the universes! Great shows here all the time, love the food, and tons of pinball! cool courtyard out back and drinks that you can put inside your body and they make you feel like talking to people! I give this place ten out of five stars!
I liked it here. It was a bit loud at times but that's to be expected. There's music and dining upstairs with comedy and more socializing downstairs. The patio area is also good for dining (away from those smoking) and chilling out! The comedy show is absolutely great!!! I will be back!
I LOVE this place. My best friend and I came here and ate tacos and they were a million times better than Taco Bell (but Taco Bell cannot compare to homemade tacos, can they?)!! Ok Mexican food, chips and salsa didn't seem overly fresh or authentic and the tacos could have been a little more flavorful. But they do have a good selection of beers. Will edit rating once we have seen one of the shows!
Great date place. We've been a few times. Our favorite show is Jack Knife Comedy which is the first Saturday of the month. There is a small cover charge but they pass out free beers so that's something. The selection of comics they bring in is impressive and we find it facinating to see the stand up
I haven't been to the comedy club but the food is fantastic. The burritos are cheap, flavorful, and big. It's my go-to spot for burritos in LIC. Edit: docking a star - this place doesn’t pick up their phone and when they do they put you on hold indefinitely.
This place is many things in one. Two areas for comedy shows upstairs and downstairs. Mexican restaurant. Food is pretty decent, solid Mexican food. Happy hour margaritas were strong and the price was cheap (also has discounts on Tecate and PBR, and other drinks). The backyard area was spacious but there were mosquitoes and a bee when we were out there so we ended up going back inside. As expected of a basement bar, it was a bit musty. Very nice
Food was pretty good, but don't come here in winter. The door sucks and would swing open and not close completely, making the entire restaurant upstairs freezing cold. I had to wear my jacket!
Outside of that, the margaritas were strong and the food was good. Definitely try it out if you don't want
