The margaritas are great, they are very strong and worth the price. The servers and staff are very attentive and the food, omg I didn't have high expectations, but it was all very flavorful and filling and not bad for the price. I will definitely be going back because it's worth it not just due to the great food and drinks but the atmosphere is so chill.

Me and my family come to Long Island City every single weekend just to visit Skinny's Cantina.
The food is absolutely delightful, I want to especially highlight the guacamole: flavorful and delicious.
Service is fast and very patient. I struggled every time to get a reservation for 5, and every time they were understanding and flexible.
Overall, our favorite restaurant. You can expect us to return next week!
Nice place, food was good! Went with a bachelorette party, we had a few drinks and shared the guacamole which was pretty good. For an entree I had the short rib mole enchiladas and they were delicious. Good serving size too and came with rice and beans which my friends meals did not come with.
Everyone else got chicken tacos, chorizo tacos, a veggie quesadilla and a chicken quesadilla. The veggie quesadilla was great for my friend who is a vegetarian since it had a nice assortment of veggies and cheese. The tacos were all good as well.
My only complaint is that the menu is a bit confusing since you have to look it up on your phone. They have the brunch and regular menu together so at first we thought the menu was a lot smaller. As well, service was a bit slow, but it was a pretty busy friday night.
Been here a few times before with friends. Love the place and the area this venue is in. They have outdoor dining and ut was a really nice night so it was a good breeze. It's close to the piers so after we walked over and hung by piers. The only thing I don't like is that they only have frozen Pina colada and margaritas...no daquaries ugh

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday after enjoying nearby Gantry Park with our young kids. We were able to get a table outside, and ordered a spread of things for all of us to share. We particularly enjoyed the queso fundido, crispy fish tacos, and chicken quesadilla. We also ordered the short rib enchiladas, which were good but not great. The margaritas (both frozen and on the rocks) skewed a little sweet, but were still decent enough. The service was very welcoming and friendly.
Was exploring the Gantry park area and was looking for a spot to have lunch. We found this great taco place. The tacos were very delicious and tasted fresh. The design was open and had good ambiance. The service was very good and had good views of the water and skyline. Would definitely come back here again!!

bottomless brunch from a pulsd deal. very good deal for the amount of food and drinks we got even though the choices were limited and had to pay a little extra for the fajita, but still totally worth it. staff seemed either overwhelmed or forgetful though so had to keep reminding them about our food and drink orders. otherwise, great place with nice breeze, good music, relaxed vibes and some good food and drinks. good for people and pet watching also.

TEQUILA & TACOS 🌮 the food is soo good and authentic which makes for a great meal !! The staff is upbeat and if you sit at the bar it is definitely a fun time.
The decor is old world Mexico in a way which is fun.
I would have given 5 stars, but we discovered afterwards that they included gratituity which was not highlighted enough on the bill and we left an additional $30 tip without noticing.
My favourite dish was the Fish Tacos. The Guac could have been better. The location and vibe were good, music was playing all night and it definitely adds to the fun and chill atmosphere.
Fish Tacos and atmosphere were great, but it was disappointing to realize after we left that we had overpaid.
