Aanchal Indian Restaurant - Long Island City - Photo album

Ordered for delivery on a rainy day through Grubhub and received my order way faster than expected. I had ordered 2 combo meals, which are fairly priced. The Chicken Tikka Masala was sweet, but it was more like Butter Chicken. Also tried Daal Makhni for the first time which was pretty good. The basm
Excessively fresh food. Everything tastes homemade. There's a bit of a wait time for your food to be ready so call in your order ahead of time in order to make it a quick transaction. It's interesting to see how frequently regular customers walk into the kitchen to offer the chef their greetings. De
Their lunch buffet is a great deal for $12! Depending how busy they get at lunch, their options vary a little bit. The buffet bar is always hot and seemingly fresh, the service is quick and friendly, and there's no extra charge for the naan so get as much as you want, if you can eat it. Otherwise
The best Indian restaurant I have ever been to in New York. The best thing is it offers the buffet which is just $11.99 and they offer variety of dishes. They have vegetarian section too. One can really feel like eating in home country.
The food is excellent and reasonably priced. We typically get the chicken vindaloo, curry or saag, vegetable jalfrezee, yellow daal, aloo paratha. Spice level can be dialed up or down to taste. Service is good and they have not been crowded the 6 or so times we've gone.
It's the only Indian Restaurant in the area. Being that it is LIC, you would expect the prices to be cheaper but since there is no competition they can charge $10-$17 an entree. The food here is pretty good though, good sized portions that will leave you full. Tons of seating here, as they must get
This is another LIC restaurant that is near my apt. We came here on a week night and it was pretty empty. Don't be discouraged though. They have a huge lunch crowd nonetheless. We got the lamb vindaloo and chicken tiki malasa and both are delicious and come in decent portion. The naan bread is also
My go to meal after climbing at the cliffs. Delicious food, great service, friendly people. The dishes are amongst the better Indian food I've had in NYC.
The vegetable samosas are off the hook. Main dishes are delicious too. They open at 10:30 AM which I like. Samosas for breakfast👍
One of the best meal I had. Definitely tastes like homemade. Yellow daal was amazing. I don't eat daal but it was worth it. Next time in the area will stop by for sure.
Food was excellent! Very fresh and flavorful, the naan rocks! Service was quick and attentive highly recommend this place.
