I love the ribs especially at the one on loop 281 near Cavender boots. The make the ribs moist and juicy not dried out.
I wish y'all would work with Heberts and open a location here in Lafayette or Maurice. anytime I go visit in Longview I always get Brisket to bring home.... LOVE LOVE LOVE Y'all

The atmosphere is old and the best of any Bodacious we have been in so far. We sat at the round table in the alcove like thing.
A Bo pie was our target today with a meager side of 2 ribs each but it should have been the other way around.
The ribs were just terrific, cooked perfect, not chewy and pulled right off. Great with or without the sauce.
The Bo pie was good and the pecan pie but overshadowed by the ribs.
Only pepsi products to drink though.
As we were leaving, we wondered how great it must be for those dogs who are at the back....the must guard that place with their life for those scraps.

Great ribs!!. My pilgrimage to Bodacious BBQ on 6th Street found a delectable plate of ribs! The old German looking structure that Roland Lindsay turned into one of the area's top eateries some 40 years ago is still going strong today. The atmosphere exhales the essence of what I grew up thinking a BBQ joint should look like. It's changed little in the last four decades and still rates as one of the best of the numerous Longview Bodacious chains. I went with the rib plate and tater salad, my wife took a sliced turkey sandwich and beans. It was an evening of good, solid, quality BBQ. The ribs were tender and moist with a rich flavor. My wife gave big thumbs up to the turkey for having a sweet smoke taste. To this old bird, Bodacious BBQ 6th St is the best of the lot!!!! ~ 3.5 Stars

Yes! Their brisket is amazing. The chopped brisket sandwich is amazing. Just drizzle some sauce on and you are in heaven. Perfect amounts for meat, fat, and bark. The sauce is perfectly tangy and sweet.
Another wonderful meal at a Bodacious BBQ. Fantastic brisket, nice and moist without being too fatty, delicious! Also, loved the dining room decor, very cute!
Ate at 6th street Bodacious and it was really good. The sauce is great. The brisket was tender and the chicken too. We will go back again! The green beans were almost gone and the macaroni and cheese needs more flavor. But in all it was good!
Bodacious BBQ is always good. The Google site says this store has a drive-thru. It does not.
