The design of ASA is inviting and the food is great. Highly recommend the garlic shrimp as an appetizer. They were perfectly cooked, but are also very heavy on the garlic side. I had an elegant, satisfying and delicious meal complimented by outstanding service at the Los Altos Asa. They have a healthy variety of outdoor heaters, so outside dining is most comfortable. Food is outstanding.
Oh dear… I really had high hopes for this place but sadly it was a huge disappointment. Let’s start off with the trout dish we ordered. The trout was very oily and over cooked. The skin was so crisp that it just fell off. The veg and potatoes were decent. The duck sliders were completely inedible.
