We came on a chilly winter evening and missed out on the patio experience. The old building casts a charm. Beautiful large aquariums and framed needlework art are eye pleasing. The food is very good and the prices very reasonable for downtown Los Altos. I wish they put more effort into their Chicken Tortilla Soup. The broth and chicken were great, but except for some overcooked zucchini wedges, there were no other veggies, and the cheese looked like tofu sticks.

It's fiesta time outdoors while listening to a band performing, or inside the long bar to appreciate some very fine tequilas. Fresh iceberg lettuce gives the food an extra crunch and vigor to the dishes. A beautifully decorated restaurant housing two large aquariums, Mexican embroidery art, lush landscaping, soothing water fountains; a kid could get lost here. The house margaritas are refreshing with freshly squeezed limes. An extra side shot of tequila can be added or enjoyed as an accompaniment to the margarita if you have the extra time. This is the place to go for festive-atmosphere-Mexican food in Los Altos, as if you really have many choices.

Ordered the grilled prawn tacos with rice and black beans. The prawns where well cooked, but the tacos were soggy and broke even doubled. Rice and beans were standard. Live music a plus.

Mexican restaurant at Los Altos Ca. The place had live music and we seated at the open .Nice ambience. The staff was good and the child seat it had all the belts buckle were broken. It is expensive restaurant as you coukd see from the price . A small Guacamole is USD 7. Strawberry maragarita was tangy sweet and tasty. Veg Toastda salad (sauted vegetable, rice, black beans served in a flour tortilla shell fresh, guacamole, sour cream, cheese and salsa fresco and ice very lettuce). Vegetarain Burito ( spinach tortillas sauted Martin veggies mushroom zucchini, onions bell pepper red pepper squash, carrots cheese lettuce guacamole salsa fresca, sour cream crowned with Green sauce ) Chile Rellenos( two savoury mild pasilla chiles filed with Montery jack and Cheddar cheese delicately cooked in whipped egg batter with salsa Ranchera on top) Enchilada Rojas ( Two corn tortillas filled cheese topped with sour cream) We ordered small portion for Enchilada and Chile Rellenos. The food on the whole was good . It cost 4 of us USD 100 including Tips

What a lovely little place. We stumbled upon Fiesta Vallarta by coming across the outdoor seating - it's beautiful. A great spot to sit and talk next to some beautiful foliage. The food was very tasty, and the service left you be. Not bad prices for restaurants in the Bay Area.

Been here thrice and tried a different dish each Time. Every single Time it's been a pleasure, great food, wonderful atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. It has all been a lovely experience. Strawberry Margarita is delightful complement to many of the dishes. Haven't tried the others yet. One warning though, dishes are huge in portion, be prepared to ask for a takeout box.
