Really great spot for brunch off bustling Vine. The garden patio is quiet, peaceful and absolutely bursting with green. It felt like an oasis. The food is also very good. My blueberry pancakes had big, fresh blueberries in them. My husband's smoked salmon scramble was pretty good even for someone who isn't crazy about smoked salmon. I guess it wasn't overly smoked and strong? Our little dog was welcomed.
Cutest girlie brunch spot! Service was quick and kind. They had alcohol and morning beverages choices! The food was decent. Little COVID mask crazy right now compared to MN but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless!
Fabulous dinner. Really nice outside seating, with exception of a few noisy trucks going by. Menu is small but superb. Duck sausage appetizer was just amazing. Blackened shrimp was a little too spicy for some in our dinner party. By far, by far, best main dish was the duck breast with cherry and mushroom sauce. And make sure to order the souffle when you order the main!
We were touring some family around the sites and walked a couple blocks off the main drag to find this spot. Well worth the walk, they hustled to sort out a table for 8, the flowers, house, and decor were lovely - don't miss the inside, it is also very beautiful.
Food was fresh, fast, and delicious. Our server was the perfect balance of friendly and hands off, and corrected a mild mistake with comping the dish that was forgotten.
Everyone enjoyed their food, and with a group of 8 including international travelers that is a near miracle.
I like this place because it is tucked away from the traffic and noise. I have been here over the years and though I hadn't been back since pre COVID, it felt so good to return and enjoy a wonderful meal in the romantic patio. The service was wonderful and the food even better. The Chicken Marsala was very good with wild mushrooms in a wine sauce and mashed potatoes. The Atlantic salmon was also good with mushrooms, spinach, and grilled bell peppers.
Make sure you order the raspberry soufflé when you order your food it is light and the right amount of tart on an already sweet dessert. My favorite over the chocolate which is my second favorite.
Bon appétit!
Good food and great ambience. Too bad the place is closing down soon. They have perfected subtle art of creating a majestic dinner experience . Do visit before they close down.
Fabulous hidden gem. Every time it's a home run. The food, service, wine ambience are all top notch. Last time I had the flat iron steak with mash potatoes. Cooked perfect and very flavorful. I paired it the old vine Zinfandel.
I am literally still sitting in this restaurant. One of my final meals before I head home from Los Angeles. I had no idea what to expect suffice to say that I am blown away by the service and the food. Everyone was so pleasant and welcoming.
I ordered the waffle special with 2 eggs over easy on the side w/bacon.
They did not skimp on service, quality and portions. Well done ‘Off Vine’.
I loved this place for its elegant, intimate setting, and yummy main courses 😋🧡 The menu is more on the consise side but had lots of appetizing options to choose from. Came here for brunch and I got the Eggs Sardou (shown below) and my bf got the Lox Benedict both were amazing 🍳🥚🥓 the hollandaise sauce was perfection, the eggs were divine, and the portions are substantial. Our servers were attentive and friendly and overall the service was hospitable. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was because both of our house potatoes were lacking some seasoning but other than that I would for sure come back to check out the lunch and dinner menus 😋Come check this place out if you want to enjoy a lovely brunch away from the hustle and bustle of the city (you are still in the city) and enjoy a lovely and delicious brunch with your group of brunch enthusiasts 🥞🥚🍳🥓🥂
A hidden Jewel! We were shocked to discover this beautiful, country cottage right in the heart of the city with delicious food, wonderful service and lovely atmosphere. We will definitely return. Really looking forward to eating outside in the courtyard on a warm day! Be sure to try the chocolate soufflé!
Akways a great place to eat. Staff is very welcoming. The salmon and radpberry souffle were delicious. Richard is always so wonderful. The homemade chips are a must.
Nice neighborhood place for brunch! If they offer the souffles, do not say no.
I rarely give 5 stars for anything unless, it's outstanding and has a wow factor. This special place deserves all of it.
Every year we would host our Friendsgiving dinner here the week before Thanksgiving and it's been fabulous each time. The food is always very delicious, the service just superb and just the atmosphere is so homey and cozy. I always grab the upstairs so, we can have it mostly to ourselves and the staff always manages to make the room feel like my home. The table cloths and candles all around just adds to the atmosphere. They are always so patient. I had to change my reservation a couple of times when people cancelled or if I had to add some back. I love this place! I'll have to get back a few more times just for regular dinner before they close permanently in 2023 when their lease is up. So sad to see them go but, so grateful to have discovered them. Go check it out yourself.
House turned restaurant with several tables outside surrounded by vines and ivy creates a little pocket of quiet amidst the big city
The menu offers a little bit of everything fancy and high priced but the vegetarian lasagna I had with good, a bit too many mushrooms for my liking but the sauce was incredible. The green beans fresh and lightly cooked in butter.
The staff was friendly and attentive even though I probably did not meet with their dress code. This ia a fancy and nice place with cloth napkins and candles.
The freshly made chocolate souffle was divine. Warm smooth and tasty. A perfect ending to this meal.
What a cute little place! Indoor and outd6 seating. Food was well prepared and service was exceptional. I had fresh blueberry pancakes which were delicious.
Delicious food, great soufflé! Great place to eat before or after show at Pantages. Definitely coming back again!
Wonderful, wholesome American fare with a Californian twist served in quaint cottage. It’s the food you wish you could make at home. Save room for the soufflés.
I loved the food, service, and ambiance. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable dining experience.
