Great vegetarian Tlayuda- flavors are good. Has a basil mushroom bean paste Oaxaca cheese... Mole is also flavorful and I am not a mole fan. Horchata was also yummy! This spot is nice and lively in the inside. The food and atmosphere work well! Great service.

The food is always absolutely incredible. Been there twice and it keeps me wanting to come back to try it all. They had a live band the last time and they sang happy birthday to some folks celebrating a birthday. The staff is always super nice, friendly, and helpful. And they have a cool tiny gift shop where you can pick up treats and drinks to go!!!

Best Mole I’ve ever tried. Their carne asada it’s no really good but the mole and the rest of the food rescue our lunch here. Amazing cheese, beans, homemade tortillas, mole and drinks. The services was amazing very helpful. I would definitely recommend the Tamarind w jalapeño marg 😋

Food: Some of the best mole I have ever had. Absolutely love the menu and the variety you get. The menu explains exactly what you are getting from each mole. Starting from the chips topped with some mole to open your appetite. We ordered the queso fundido first. Then the Giant tostada enough to feed 2-3 people & my mole Colorado (chicken breast) was amazing. Service: We were seated immediately. Not long of a wait for a Friday night. The waiter took our drink order pretty quickly. We waited a little to order our main plates, but we're never left unattended. Atmosphere: I mean to top off except food and service..the place was just so much fun. The band they had that night was amazing and quite frankly the reason we stayed longer and racked up a bill of over $250. But don't be afraid of our total, we had more than our fair share of drinks. I cannot wait to go back!!

I had never been here before so I didn't even know this place was there. It's Mexican but not your typical Mexican food. The food was definitely different from what I have had before but unfortunately the food had way too much salt and on the expensive side. They really need to cut that salt and the tortillas got cold fast. Not too many choices if you're not use to this type of food. Also they only have a valet parking. No regular parking.

I've always wanted to try mole, and I'm glad I came here to experience it the 1st time. I tried the mole negro and it didn't disappoint. Great, unique restaurant ambiance, too. Minus 1 star for a stunt the server pulled though, which was asking me if I wanted a tortilla, while being ambiguous if it cost extra, which I found out at the end that it did. Just a heads up on the parking: there's only street parking, which can be dicey, and $7 valet.

We went here for dinner with friends and luckily got a quieter table behind the bar area. It is a Massive restaurant with a fun night life a huge menu and lots to drink. We tried several different kinds of mole and of course the queso both were delicious. I definitely recommend giving this place a try and I will for sure return!

Definitely a staple in Los Angeles. The food here is great and the atmosphere is AMAZING. Loved the live music. Ordered the Botana Oaxaqueña (half) and Festival de Moles. Had leftovers with 4 people, but was fantastic to try all the different things.

This place was on the list of neighborhood restaurant recommendations, so I went and checked it out. I grew up an hour away from the border in New Mexico, so I'm no stranger to Mexico food, but I loved how different this was being Oxacan style which I haven't really experienced before. Instead of the normal chips and salsa, they give you chips with mole and a little bit of cheese. I asked the server his recommendation, and he said he personally liked "Taco de Barbacoa de Chivo" (tender young goat tacos in a corn tortilla). I was blown away by how good it was. I'm only in LA for 4 days, but I'd love to come back and try more stuff on the menu here.

This place was really good. I ordered the non-dairy Mexican Hot chocolate, and to my surprise, it came with a sweet bread. I also ordered the Chilaquiles en Mole with queso Oaxaca. It was a huge portion. I went in the morning so it was not busy at all. The waiters were always checking up on us which was a nice detail. Very cool place and really good food with bug portions.

This place was amazing! We came here not knowing what to expect with little background in traditional Oaxacan mole but we were blown away. They seat you with a bowl of chips covered in the best mole you’ve ever had. It started an unforgettable lesson in the depth of gravity that is mole. With our first taste of mole we knew we needed more. So we order the mole sampler with all 4 moles and the queso fundito. Nothing disappointed and the handmade huge tortillas were amazing. The level of care that goes into each piece every dish was ridiculous. The mushrooms in the fundido were delicious on their own. Each mole has a different flavor profile and wowed us every time we dipped a large piece of the handmade tortilla.

everything we ordered was delicious! for drinks we ordered: dairy-free Horchata, Chilacayota, Pasión De Oaxaca, and a Margarita. for entrees we ordered Chiles Rellenos, Enchiladas de Coloradito+Tasajo, Enfrijoladas+Tasajo, Festival de Moles, and a side order of Nopales (grilled cactus) of course dessert is a separate stomach so we topped it all off with Chocoflan and a slice of Tres Leches. for a party of 4 it was plenty of food and drinks! we will be back for more!

Food was great the service was extremely slow. My guest received her food first and then took approximately 15 minutes for me to get my order.

It was our first time here and it did not disappoint. From the setting to the food to the mezcal, its definitely worth the drive from Arizona. Mole is 5 star, handmade tortillas corn and tamales were perfection. This is a new favorite
