My birthday twin and I decided to try this place yesterday. The food was great. Service was fast, attentive and very friendly!! Try the Tropical Ha Ha!! Definitely helped our double 50th birthday celebration to be most enjoyable!! I make the trip to Venice and Santa Monica from Vegas regularly, and will return!! Thanks!!

I love the Figtree Cafe beyond words! The staff there are the best i could ask for. I've been going there since I was 5 years old. Yummy food and great view too! :) !!
I went for the first time last Sunday around 5 and besides the good service and the amazing dinner, I experienced the nicest thing I've ever seen from a restaurant.
A company of 3 ordered food, after waiting a little they left right before the waiter came with the food. The people from the restaurant talked a bit, they where a little frustrated, which is understandable. After some time, I saw the waitress walking through the boardwalk with 3 "doggybags" and giving the food to 3 homeless men.
So rude from the people to leave once they ordered, but amazing how the place managed it.
We visited a couple of times for a couple of beers and something to eat which was always great. The vegetarian options were really great. Seemed to us to be the best place along the boardwalk to drop into for something to eat.
Been coming to this awesome restaurant for decades. Sometimes there's a year or two in between and it's always such a treat to find that it still exists and has an awesome menu.
Organic Heinz Ketchup on every table I'm highly allergic to high fructose corn syrup and have written to several hotels and Heinz asking them to offer the organic option. Today for the first time ever during my travels I see the best ketchup option as the only option for your patrons. Thank you so much for this small gesture of love! It truly made my year
If your looking for a nice view and good food. I had Turkey Bacon Burger it was so good. It's more on the healthy side .Wish they has sweet potato fries. Overall it was good and you want go wrong.
Ouside Dining With A View of Venice Beach!
I picked this place while visiting Venice Beach because of the outdoor seating. While the view was tremendous, the food was even better. I enjoyed the shrimp cappelini while my wife enjoyed her Ahi tuna sandwich. My daughter opted for the tofu scramble with fake chorizo. I don't get the fake meat items of a vegan, but she loved it. While visiting the beach, this one is a must

Breakfasts are 50% off. Cant figure out why but the quality is top rate. Excellent Americano and the Lulu Omelette is worth a trip here.
Nice outside cafe style. Service is nice but "unrushed" so dont come if you are watching time.

Good but cold outside in morning. You will sit in the cold shade if you eat outside in the morning. My fault as inside was packed.

Skip the Street Food & Come Here. So I was visiting LA for the first time and of course hitting all the touristy locations. Venice beach was on the to-do list but I had no desire to eat from the vendors along the boardwalk. My friend and I stumbled upon this cafe and as it was the first sit down place we found, we gave it a chance. The service was a little slow, but when you have one waiter for 10 tables that is to be expected. What I didn't expect was how wonderful the food was. I had the oaxacan tacos which were three mini corn rounds topped with black bean paste, seasoned chicken, and an avocado slice. The salsa was very good too. My only complaint is that the chips were rather stale. Be forewarned, it can get very cold on the deck when it's windy and overcast.
Highly Recommend. This cafe has great food and atmosphere. They offer many healthy, vegetarian, and organic options. I had the fish tacos which came with salmon, ahi tuna, and tilapia, a strange but delectable combination. I would recommend sitting outside to watch the variety of people walking down the Venice Beach boardwalk.
Very unique. This restaurant is fresh and delightful. After walking along the beach this is one of my favourite places to go. They have some very unique ideas and I am a particularly big fan of the avocado chicken melt sandwich. The flavours are just wonderful. My uncle who lives in LA says that Figtree's has the best omelette's he's ever eaten.
Service isn't bad considering with all the tourists they're constantly busy but don't expect everything to be very prompt; they are very busy!
Healthy by the beach. Something for everyone and on the beach strip, not fancy, but a Venice staple.
I dined here with a group of friends. We had a reservation, ended up being early, and they were happy to accommodate us. Between us, most of the menu was ordered. No one was disappointed with their meal selection. I had the burger. My expectations were low but wow, that burger was good! The perfect amount of condiments with some type of spicy cheese. I opted for the side salad instead of fries and the dressing was light and delicious. The chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked, not dry, and very large. The drinks were on a whole different level. Huge props to the bartender that night - I had the best old fashioned I’ve ever had, ever!
Got the roasted rhubarb toast which was perfect. It's reasonably sweet and perfectly fruity and bread perfectly toasted. Wanted something different then the common avocado toast. Overall, it's a perfect small dish. I wouldnt call it a meal and expect to get full, but rather a light lunch. I was pleased with my portion. Will be visiting again.

The food was fabulous and I’d say sit outside at their side patio if you can. It’s such a beautiful setting and you can still peep at the ocean and beach without the crazy traffic of ppl staring at your food!
From smoothie, coffee to the entrees it was all a hit! Pretty good portioning too!
This lovely spot by the beach is an absolute gem! The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is unbeatable. I find myself coming back here time and time again for the amazing dining experience. Highly recommend!
We received the most pleasant service from Santiago during our visit. There are plenty of beautiful seating areas inside and outside the restaurant.
Everything that we tried was very delicious and fresh — we’ll definitely be back for a return visit.

Cute small restaurant. Definitely worth checking out. There burgers are pretty good and cocktails. Pretty easy to access and food service was slow but bar was fast.
What a great place to eat ! I sat outside by the boardwalk and was able to people watch. The atmosphere was so cute and the servers seemed to be on top of it. I went alone but definitely would be a great date spot. The fries and the churros were great! the fish special was so refreshing and delicious. I even got a mezcal flight that included 4 types. I do wish they would've brought the label card out so I knew what I was drinking. Would highly recommend though!
Came here for happy hour and dinner. We sat on the outside patio area. The view was amazing. It was the time of year where it got a bit chilly at night but they did have a curtain to block the wind (but not the view) as well as heaters so definitely was not cold during our meal. The pork elote was great, the elote had some hazelnuts mixed in so the texture was very unique but not too distracting. Parked at lot by the beach that was within walking distance. Would definitely come back again.
A great place on the boardwalk to have breakfast! We loved how it opened up early so we could enjoy the area while I was still not crowded and pretty quiet. Great range of items on the breakfast menu, the lox on toast was delicious and so were our lattes!
Beautiful breakfast cafe on the beach. Enjoyed the Banana bread, tacos rancheo & avocado toast. The coffee was bland, service was okay-ish, but the food was delicious.
Located on the Venice beach and right in front of the Pacific Ocean this is a really cool restaurant for a relaxed get together with friends and family. Heard they have an amazing brunch menu but we were there for a relaxed dinner after a long busy day! The food tasted really good and the drinks were also very decent. Would definitely recommend this for similar occasions or just to chill out after enjoying the beach front.

Food came out fast! I love it, especially when you're on a run and got work waiting. Server and hostess are very nice.
I ordered latte with oat milk, and chicken melt sandwich with fries.
Everything is good except the fact that they used other milk that is not oat 🥲 I have lactose intolerance and my stomach is super upset right now -- quite a disappointment! (I know for sure because this is the only meal I have today!)
This place is great, they remodeled and made it pretty hip. There's boardwalk seating. The food is pretty darn tasty, it's a little pricey but I think worth the environment. They do include the tip on the check. I've eaten here a couple times since they redid the place I highly recommend it if you're on the beach and want a nice ocean view! Not sure about parking, but I lived close by so it's typically not an issue for me.
Ran into Fig Tree during the beach walk. Orderred FigTree breakfast. Breads were relly good. Eggs over easy right on. Bacons done perfect. Avocado complimented the taste. Babanas fried offer a new taste. Love it.
