This was my favorite place when I lived in West Hollywood in the 90s. I would go several days a week and have a French pot and a piece of the peanut butter chocolate cake (maybe it was a pie, regardless it was divine. Glad to see it is still around. If I ever get back to the west coast I’ll be there.
I visited this cake shop with my friend after a year long deployment with the military to Afghanistan. When the guys behind the counter heard, they brought us one slice from every cake to our table. It was the most magical fun moment. People walked in and saw us with all this cake!! It really was a great memory. Thank you.
My absolute favorite cake ever. Triple berry cake- so good. They give thick slices too which I love.
They had some gluten free options so I could take the flourless chocolate cake which was amazing . My niece tried the Carmel brownie bite and liked it too. Sadly my mom couldn’t have anything because there was nothing vegan there .
Top notch service and food, I'm impressed. I got the Spinach, Sun-dried tomato, goat cheese omelette with Challah toast and added applewood bacon. French press coffee was good, although I prefer my coffee on the stronger side. The place is on the smaller side, but it's great atmosphere and decor is nice. Really great if you want to sit down and talk. Shared a curried chicken sandwich and asked for the bread to be toasted, which was really good and flavorful.

I am so grateful to this staff at the West Hollywood location, Aron and Mel, for their suggestions, customer service and going the extra mile. Placed an online order for the Beverly Hills Store and got a call it could not be filled due to not enough inventory. The person who called me suggested other mini jars but it still was not enough for my order but never suggested mini bites. Asked the BEVERLY HILLS location on the same call if they could help locate others at other locations because I wanted several - NO, was the answer but we can cancel your order was the comment! I took a chance and went to the West Hollywood location and Aron tried to locate more then their inventory. When he was unsuccessful, he asked Mel to jump and and she suggested mini bites. Aron and Mel’s customer service saved a very negative review for the company. Drive further and DON’T do business with the Beverly Hills store! I guess saving a large order, and not losing business is not important to the Beverly Hills location. Aron and Mel, awesome job and you are why your location is successful- great customer service! The Cedar Sinai CSICU were grateful for your tasty treats!
This place is phenomenal! The cakes and cheesecakes are so delicious. I ordered a chocolate birthday cake that was to die for, but I couldn't leave without a little treat for me--each time I step in the shop lol. I highly recommend their chocolate panache, triple berry chocolate cake and hazelnut cheesecakes. But u really can't go wrong with picking literally ANY thing that they have available.
Pre-ordered online for a holiday cake. No line when I picked up and you see they have COVID-19 protocols in place. They have plenty and friendly of staff to assist you. The holiday cake was so good. The lady also advise me how to serve and store the cake. I appreciate this as I do not know anything about it. The other cake I ordered were the pumpkin cheesecake which is so good as well. My family and I loved our Christmas desserts and surely will be back soon.
I love the cakes. So incredibly great tasting! It's a great place for soup or coffee and then as a treat for the office I sometimes pickup a cake. when I get back from lunch my co-workers think I'm a rock star! I'd give a 5 stars but sometimes, but not very often the staff are snarky.
The tiramisu took me my surprise. It had chocolate chips infused with the cream. Really delightful! I also tried the blueberry pie. It was good, but I wish they warmed it up. The service was strange...they said they had table service, but I had to keep getting up to ask for something. The staff was very friendly. I would go back and try the rest of their baked goods.
A woman with short dark hair and eyes always take good care of me when I go. It’s my neighborhood bakery so I always look forward to going. Means a lot with they take the extra effort. By far the best chocolate chip cherry cookies and Lemon bars!
Signature Triple Berry cake is always perfect. The cake is moist, buttery and not sweet. It tastes so fresh. The birthday or celebration in my family and friends I have purchased from here always. I’ve been coming to this location for over 10+ years. Price are high but it’s worth. Great cakes for special occasions! My all time fav bakery! I highly recommend Sweet Lady Jane if you want a high quality very special cake. A+++

By far Sweet Lady Jane is one of the best bakeries in Los Angeles. And, all for a really good reason. The are masters at what they do. Along the bakery staples of all kinds of treats they create the best cakes, period! The quality is unparalleled. My husband and I trusted them and it's where we got our wedding cake. Their wedding cakes are known for their beauty and quality ingredients and the bakers doesn’t look at their creations as just any cake. They execute them like works of culinary art. The cakes create the cherished memories for the events they were lovingly baked for.
Our wedding cake was based on Sweet Lady Jane's German Chocolate. A Dark chocolate three tiered cake each filled with a layers of; toasted coconut in pastry cream, caramel praline (candied pecans) and chocolate ganache. Then frosted and fluted with a dark european chocolate buttercream and decorated with silver candy beads to exquisitely depict a perfect snowy day. Our topper are a pair of antique toy skiers. My husband and I met on the slopes.
My favorite cake place ever! I’ve ordered countless Triple Berry Cakes for countless occasions from this location and every birthday this is the cake I request! It’s also a nice place to have cake and coffee with friends!
