Absolutely amazing!! We got the vegan Big Mac and the chili cheese burger. We upgraded our fries for $3 to the animal fries and the chili cheese fries. Everything was delicious! I haven’t had beef in a long time, but this is what I remember it tasting like. The texture is spot on as well. I would recommend this place to anyone dining with omnis because they probably wouldn’t even be able to tell. We also got the triple fudge brownie and the German chocolate cake and both were soooo good. My only complaint is our server wasn’t very attentive after we received our food, but I forgive that because of how good our food was.
The absolute best vegan food I have ever had. And I am not a vegan...Get the chili cheese fries and buffalo chicken sandwich. I promise you will not regret it.. my meal was the best meal I've had in 2018. I will be back!
The food was amazing! I had the Big D it was a vegan take on the Big Mac, the burger was big and full of flavor. Fried avocados for appetizer was a great surprise. If you're vegetarian/vegan this place is a must!
The best vegan junk food I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the fried chicken!! Service is great and Sammy is by far my favorite. The vegan Mexican food next door is incredible too!

OMG I can't say enough about how amazing the food was!! Between the 3 of us we tried the fried avocado and the breading is so light and crispy and yum!! I had the chimichanga and holy smokes this is bomb! My non vegan friend was a trooper and had the burger with pulled pork on it (can't remember the name) and he loved it! Not sure how the heck they got that "pork" to be stringy and crispy on the ends but it was to die for! The other dish was a macaroni pesto with "chicken" and of course that was also bomb! I will def be back next time I come to town!!
Can’t wait to come back here! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was spectacular! We had the best waiter ever.

Doomie’s is our favorite place. The vegan comfort food is the best, and the desserts are yummy. Coolest spit in LA!
This isn't healthy vegan food. This is awesome good junk food perfect to eat after drinking or if you not want to be super uptight. Doomie's gives me the vibe of when I use to go to Goth night in Pittsburgh. All the wait staff are super helpful and great. If I lived in LA I would be there all the time. I love it.
Hands down the best vegan burger/chicken place I've been to in over 20 years of vegetarianism. The "chicken" sandwiches are an absolute delight - juicy, crispy, and perfect. Portion sizes are beyond generous, and their shakes and cookies are delicious too. We have been back a few times and Doomie's is now our go-to spot when we're hungry in LA.
OMG sooooo good! You would never know it was vegan.
actually the best vegan restaurant i’ve ever been too. very delicious. the buffalo wings were definitely a highlight. all around very good sloppy food. very friendly staff.
Came here a bunch of times while visiting LA and everything we got was fantastic. The chocolate cake and fried chicken pictured was incredible. Great late night spot!
I absolutely love this place. There is not a healthy thing on the menu but it is amazing. The jalapeno poppers and fried shrimp are to die for. So many more fantastic items on their menu. Parking can be really tricky especially on a weekend. You can usually find parking on the street but they're parking lot is a hot mess. They do have some outdoor seating now and indoor. They switched to a cashless system and now use touch screen ordering where you enter your phone number and receive a text when your order is ready for pickup. Service is good but depends on who you get.
The vegan food here is amazing. So happy to have stopped by. Had the BBQ Pork sandwich; so delicious and not made with jackfruit! And the fries are like In-and-out except they actually taste great! And the staff is very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to try more on the menu.
The food is great, tasted really close to non-vegan variations of the same items and it was prepared quickly. We ordered the Fried chicken and the Mac and cheese patty melt sandwich. 5 stars for me on food.
Ordering is done using the touch screens or ahead of time and you pick up at the counter. The guy working the counter was courteous and efficient. 5 stars on customer service.
So why 4 stars? The dining area. The floors had a tack to them, sort of like movie theater aisles, which is slightly off putting, and I didn't see the tables wiped down once between multiple customers coming and going using the same booths. There are also visible cobwebs in the corner that have been long abandoned and hanging black from the ceiling.
Excellent restaurant with delicious home made vegan fried food, sandwiches and burgers. They also have very funny menu. I had the fried avocado and it was so fresh, crispy and creamy at the same time. I also ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and garlic fries, absolutely fabulous! The crispy chicken sandwich was one of the best vegan sandwiches I had for a while. The service was great and fast. Definitely a solid 5 Star place that I’d recommend to check it out!
Doomie's has thus far been the friendliest and most fantastic experience I've had at any restaurant in Los Angeles. The staff was absolutely excellent, receptive, and friendly. I loved not just the food, but the experience of being here.
The food was really excellent; I got the three-piece dinner, which was divine. I also tried the Jalapeno Puffs and some Mac & Cheese. I will note that nothing was as spicy as I had expected, but it did all taste wonderfully. One of my friends pointed out that the cheese had a distinct barbecue sauce/smoke flavor to it. I personally enjoyed it, but she didn't, so this may be something to consider if that isn't a flavor you enjoy.
It’s gross to look at but it’s my favorite food in LA. Greasy and delicious vegan food. I’ve tried almost everything and everything is good. The buffalo wings and fried shrimp are my favorites. The pbj burger is amazing but I’ve never been able to finish it in one o
A SUPER fun place to really be wow-ed by their creations!! This place is definitely somewhere that I recommend for the novelty! Play song for me I just stop too much fries food so it was definitely a little bit overwhelming but I think it’s a super amazing place to go and try. If you are on vacation and are vegan or not I would recommend this to anyone in the area!! We had a really good time and I feel like the way that they curate their dishes is so creative and amazing, there are some really cool ways that they imitate non-vegan foods.
Best vegan comfort food. My (vegan) friend wanted to go here. Parking available in the lot and they have probably a dozen or so tables inside. Staff was friendly. Ordered the Mac melt with Buffalo Fries, Fried Shrimp and Oreo cake. I'm usually not a fan of vegan meats but other joints should take some pointers from this place. The flavors and textures of the shrimp and beef were pretty close to real meat. The buffalo fries were bomb; spicy, tangy and crunchy! The sandwich was a messy battle to eat but I won (I think?); they piled on the jalapenos & grilled onions which was awesome. The shrimp was crunchy outside and tender inside. Oreo cake had a delicious flavor but was a little grainy. I'm not vegan but this is by far my favorite spot so far.
I love Doomie's LA location. The chicken drumsticks actually looked and tasted like chicken - a wooden "bone" was used to replicate the feel. The fries were amazing and the mac and cheese was really good too. The bacon in the burgers tasted like bacon - and as someone who used to love bacon as a meat-eater - I had to go back for more on another night during my stay in LA. I'd highly recommend this if you're looking for somewhere interesting and different to have dinner. It's a little hard to find, the windows are blacked out on the place and it's located on a square that gets swept away with all the other stores - but I assure you it's there. Deep fried oreo's are a must-try too. WILL be going back.
Man this place was great. Wish I had one back in Texas. The waiter was very friendly as a first time visitor and gave some great recommendations. Everything on the menu is vegan so feel free to pig out and not feel guilty about it.
I would recommend anything involving their cheese (either adding it to their fries or on a roll).
The rolls are so good. On pictures I saw online before I came here I was ready to be disappointed since it looked like stale hot dog buns. Those low quality and low light pictures do not do it justice! They’re so soft and tasty.
