Food was lush lush and leave a little room for pudding. Brooke our waitress was ever so friendly and helpful, and the pudding recommended by Brooke was worth the fullness feeling loved the bar and the experience Defo recommend #lovedla

I've been here more than once. The food and atmosphere is great. The calamari and lamb burgers are terrific. I've also been there for brunch the chicken and waffles and french toast of the day was divine. I like this place alot and decor is really cool. Definitely worth Your time.

Why did I love it??? Elegant Chicken and Waffles, the Bison Burger and the service!!! We were here for a lunch break on a Sunday afternoon, (we were glad they were open on a Sunday as a lot of the restaurants in the financial district are closed on Sundays) the dining area was full and we had our own closed off room with tables and booths. Our CFO adores this place and now I know why. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us we were all served promptly and the food was delicious. My co-workers and I were all trying each others plates because we all ordered differently. The chicken kale salad was delicious too!!! I will be back next time I'm in the area!

I had the salmon. Absolutely the best. My server, Lexington, could not have been better. Close to the Bonaventure, Delta crews.

Food is yum! We had the steak and eggs and the croque madame , the truffle fries and the half bottomless mimosas. Which means you get two of those bottles in the photos per person. Was fine for us. Yum!

The public school is really cool in ambiance, service, and food presentation and flavor. I really enjoyed my visit. The staff was helpful, the games were fun and the food and drinks were epic too. I would recommend this place heavily for the burger and calamari. Very cool in the heart of downtown LA.

Hip spot in down town. Atmosphere is great, with some baseball mitt art, meat grinders and video displays. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, the food presentation was nice, everything tasted good. Everyone was very nice, but service was slow. They have games at the table to keep you entertained while you wait! I'd definitely go back.

This is a very interesting chain of restaurants/pubs where they will school you on good food and beer, hence the name. Great for drinks, dinner, and good times. The food was enjoyable and they have a bunch of board games and shuffle board to play with while drinking. The Calamari was some of the best I've had, and I left with a full tummy, a nice buzz, and a smile on my face.

55 people in our party and the service was impeccable! Only 4 stars because the parking is atrocious. $10 to park.... if there’s valet available it’s definitely not posted outside clearly. The food was good, Salmon with a house salad, very nicely done, and again, the service was fabulous!

I got the elote bratwurst footlong for something a little different. I definitely didn't regret my decision, it was very tasty. The service was quick and we sat in the bar area so we placed our order with the bartender whom was very nice. My daughter got a basic burger that looked pretty good, cooked to a perfect medium-rare.

Delicious! The Mac n cheese is fantastic and can act as a stand alone meal because of it's heft. The burger is average. Beer selection is decent. Staff are friendly and attentive. Environment is dark and semi-comfortable. Needed to keep a jacket on during the visit as the doors were open. Overall worth a stop!

The place has a great atmosphere and service. Weekend brunch special includes bottomlesss mimosa which you switch to beermosa, bloody mary and one other drink. Foods are pretty good for their prices. Chicken and waffle came with a delicious gravy but portions were on the smaller side.

Came here as another brewery was showing the Dodgers game and couldn't hear anything my friend was saying. Was suprised and slightly skeptical as the place was not busy but was very glad I did come as the service, food and drinks were very decent. Definitely recommend coming

This place was rad. Everything is school theme down to the composition notebook menus. The service here was a little off though. They did "team" serving and the first girl was supposed to bring us 2 beer samples to try so we can order a beer but she kinda disappeared and I saw her taking other orders. Some guy comes next and takes our food order...20 min pass still no food or beer sample...like by now, you might have had me on the verge of ordering a second beer. A 2nd girl (3rd server) comes to ask our drink order so we explain how we are waiting on the first server for our samples still. 3 games of jenga later the first server comes with our beer samples. All in all it was good, but they might want to follow other restaurant's lead and have each server accountable for their own tables. I still left a tip and having worked in the service industry I usually tip 20% but I left less. If I hadn't worked in the service industry I wouldn't have tipped at all. This place has tons of potential though, amazing environment, good beer, good food, so I'll give it 5 stars.

Wow, this place is amazing! The decor, even the napkins and menus just added to the look and feel of this place. The service was excellent, and the food tastes fantastic, I loved my steak, it was cooked perfectly, I'd be totally coming back here.

My first time here...nuce atmosphere. Not crowded but busy lunch time, good fast service. I expected a bigger burger for the $, but...it was very tastey.

Cool interior decor for this modest School with excellent food, prompt and courteous service and not so noisy restaurant. Innovative menu item such as grilled artichoke, variety of burger options, soups and salads. Wine selections nicely paired with menu items.

Their PB&J burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had. So delicious and worth all the calories.

A cool American gastro pub in downtown Los Angeles. A great spot to catch up with some old friends especially when you just get off the plane. They have a pretty good beer selection and I also enjoyed the public school decor. Good stuff especially for L.A.. Unfortunately I didn’t get to the food but the service was friendly enough for me to want to come back. All in all a good time.

GREAT themed restaurant. The menus look like elementary school note books. The titles of some of the food and drinks have creative names like study hall. Service is great. Prices reasonable. Overall I ended up coming here 2 times in my 3 days in LA.

Delicious food and best mimosa deal downtown! Definitely get the bacon cheddar tots, and the beer cheese burger! Ham and cheese empanadas are like an elevated hot pocket and I can’t recommend them enough!
