My go-to sandwich shop. My favorite is the chicken prosciutto sandwich. That one is a 11/10. For the service, it takes a while for the sandwich to come out. Fountain drink options are meh.
Their banh mi is good too. I didn’t like the salad too much. My friend fell in love with the Peruvian steak sandwich. The location is right next to trader joe’s and you can get validated parking.
Extremely delicious food and drinks. We ordered Impossible salad and Unreal Ruben. Only few Vegan options just 😞 I wish that they bring back Mushroom Shawarma and Impossible burger for more choices.
I’ve been eating at Mendocino Farms for years, primarily through delivery. Just this past Friday night, I went in-person and the food was great. The service was okay. What was not okay was the obvious annoyance the staff showed us because we chose to sit on the patio until our order was ready and our names called out. Not so apparent is that while they can play music on the patio, there is no way for customers to hear their names called from that location. You have to be inside to hear your name called. The staff’s frustration with this handicap was very obvious. In turn, people in my party became annoyed at the staff’s attitude. I got it. It’s hard to man the order desk, clean tables and give people their food IN the service area, but it would be, (dare I say it?) ANNOYING to then have to got outside and find the customer who’s order is up. I have a simple solution; hire someone to help or wire your sound system so that customers could hear their name called. I think the latter would be more cost and labor effective. I’ll continue to eat here but would love to see more efficiency and less annoyance.
We’ve had food delivered from here and eaten dine-in. The food has been consistently delicious! Always very fresh and attention to detail for every ingredient. I’m crazy about their crispy chicken sandwhich! One of the best I’ve ever had! I’m not normally crazy about coleslaw, but the apple-celery slaw in this is so good! The pickles are great, the bun is great, just amazing! It will be hard to order anything else as long as it’s on the menu. I’ve loved all the pasta salads I’ve tried here. Favorites being pesto and romesco.
My boyfriend and I ate here on a Saturday at 11am right when they opened, and hardly anyone else was there. The staff were very friendly.
Thank you for the great food! One of our favorite places to eat!
We came here during the weekend for lunch and got our usual pink lady beets and goat cheese salad. They have huge portions , and the salad ingredients is just great. You can also get the dressing on the side . Only problem is the parking , they have a parking lot and validate parking but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get in because every one is just waiting for one person to get out while rest of the parking lot is empty. Dont go into the parking lot if you are in a rush because it also IMPOSSIBLE to get out of the parking lot when someone blocks your car .
one of my fave spots in LA, went here twice in a 3 day span on my last visit. Very fresh food and variety of options, I really enjoyed the Peruvian steak sandwich. Their salads are also tasty, and they have some unique drink options. Very close to Grove, so good place to eat then walk over. I wish they had one closer to the East Coast!
I enjoy eating Mendocino Farms Farm Club which is one of my Favorites Sandwich!! They have Many Different Kinds of Sandwich and Salads!! They have Special Sandwich and Salad for a Limited Time like a Limited Time Sandwich called Sweet Heat Crispy Thai Chicken Sandwich!! So you can either do the usual like go to the cashier and place a order or you can do mobile order to pick up a Sandwich or Salad. And it is across the street next to the Grove Mall!! So I recommend going to this place for a good lunch.
Such a lovely sandwich place to visit. I really enjoy the food! Richard was one of the most friendly staff I ever seen in LA, and his recommendation was amazing! Will revisit again.
Loved the vibe and the food. Service was fast and brought to the table.
Loved this place. I had the not so fried chicken sandwhich and it was amazing. The perfect balance of flavor and texture. I wish they had one on the east coast it was that good!
Tonya, if she is not the manager she should be! She was so friendly and helpful. We are from out of town, this was our first visit, and she gave very helpful advice on the menu. The food came very quickly, was FRESH and delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
It’s Mendocino Farms. They’re all great. This one doesn’t skip a beat. Every sandwich I’ve ordered from here is spot on and fantastic. Parking is free with validation. They have beers on tap. The Grove is also nearby. Sidecar Doughnuts is right across from it. Always a solid choice for lunch/dinner!
First time ordering from here and customer service from JAKE @ catering department was absolutely the sweetest , polite , kind , professional quick and efficient person ever !!!!!!!! love the food thank you sooooo much , also he called me a few hours later to make sure everything was okay and I really appreciated that
I love Mendecino Farms! The service here
is always on point. The person behind the counter was very polite and offered free samples of their side dishes. I declined because I was already warned that the salad I ordered was very filling. I like the little buzzers they give you too. Your buzzer will light up and start buzzing when your food is ready. Your food will be on the counter and you will be greeted with a friendly smile. I ordered the Save Drake Farm's Salad R/GF and added an avocado to it, which actually ended up being the best part. I was surprised how delicious it the salad tasted. I will get it without onions next time, but the avocado for an extra $1 will always be added to it in the future. Another great thin worth mentioning is that an employee came over to my table and asked me how everything was and if I needed anything else. That matters a lot to me. Everything costed $15, including tip. This definitely isn't something that I can get everyday, but it is definitely a treat when it fits the budget!
5/5 Quality of Food
4/5 Quantity of Food
5/5 Service
5/5 Value (Price to Food + Service)
The sandwiches here are good. The prices a are a little higher. I got the hot Italian and it tasted great. Nicely seasoned and the right amount of condiments. I would decidedly come again but the price will keep me from coming frequently.
Avocado 🥗 quinoa Salad was good ,dressing was delicious 😋, chicken sandwich was yummy, 🍽 dine in and patio open. Service was ok. free parking with validation. I exceeded 3 min and I paid 2 dollars..
Good food and good service. Good COVID procedures. I shouldn't have had the Banh Mi, the only version is pork belly which I know is too farty but I could not resist and ordered it. Still very good but too much fat for my taste. My wife had the quinoa avocado salad which she said was delicious.
