I came on a Friday night with a party of 10, and they were nice enough to accommodate all of us quickly without a reservation somehow. Overall loved the chicken burger I got, I only wished the portion was bigger. Note that sides are additional.
Had a short wait despite it being 8pm, but since the pace takes reservations, this is generally a non-issue.
The service was excellent. Promptly took my order, brought drinks, refilled drinks, and brought the meal. Receiving and paying the check was very quick.

I was looking for a burger place since there aren’t many in DTLA and I happen to find Umami(first time I hear of) while walking. It was my lucky day as well since they were giving free burgers on that day. One my favorite burger places now and will be stopping by when craving a burger. 🙃
So tasty! This is how good hamburger should taste - juicy meat, cheese, pickles and buttery bun. Truffle ketchup combines perfectly with sweet potatoes fries.
I went in on a lazu Saturday before the lunch crowd hit. The music was nice and mellow, my Cali burger was delicious, and I had 1, ok 2, of the best freshly squeezed lime margaritas that I have ever had and the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Umami Burger!
