Parking is the worst but worth the wait to get a spot. Bean dip was tasty as well as the Pitcher of Margaritas. 1st. Time there for our anniversary. The carne asada with shrimp and the taquitos were delicious. They gave us a fried ice cream for our anniversary, it was do gooood. The service was great, everyone was very nice. We had a 45 minute wait and we were seated in 20 minutes. A small restaurant really crowded. All in all it was worth it. Salsa and Beer go try it.
I had gone last month to go have dinner when we got there it was an hour-and-a-half wait there were people standing everywhere inside and outside to get in finally I got to go yesterday in the afternoon there was no wait and it was kind of empty got to finally sit down and enjoy a meal now I know why it's an hour-and-a-half wait and it's always so packed the food was amazing it was great and definitely will return just wish but the place was a lot bigger and the parking lot was not a great experience the parking is bad so for all the food was great
This place is beyond fantastic. The food is amazing, porltiins are huge, and the prices are so affordable you want more. I love the fresh chips and bean dip or their salsa bar. It's unreal how good everything here is. I recommend either fajitas or the carne es ada burrito. They are outstanding. The wait is worth it as you will be amazed by how good the food is.
Great food...large portions. Parking was hard to find, but this place has good food and good customer service.
This place is a gem! Fun, great atmosphere, huge portions for very low prices and it tastes sooooo goooood!!!!!

The best Mexican restaurant ever. Prices are great and the food even better. Have been going there for YEARS!!!
Great spot to go to. My family and I love their rice and fajitas, the portions are very good the Asada plate is very tasty. Sometimes we have to wait but I fully understand cause we're not the only ones that want their food.
Place is amazing and well worth the wait! The Zacatecas fajitas are to die for!
Great food. Good daily beer specials. I recommend them.
My recent visit to Salsa and Beer #1 with a large group of 14 was a delightful culinary adventure, made all the more enjoyable by our server Juan. His attentiveness and skill in managing our large party were commendable, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the freshness and taste of the food. Everything served was brimming with flavor, capturing the essence of authentic Mexican cuisine. My personal choice, a Michelada, stood out as one of the best I’ve ever had. It struck the right balance of flavors without being overly spicy, a perfect accompaniment to the meal.
The complimentary chips, served with beans, were a hit at our table. They were seasoned perfectly, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite. As for the main course, my burrito was a substantial serving, so generously portioned that finishing it was a delightful challenge.
Another aspect that pleasantly surprised us was the affordability of the meals. The prices were quite reasonable, making the delicious food even more enjoyable, knowing it didn’t come with a hefty price tag.
While we did encounter a wait before being seated, it was absolutely worth it. The wait time paled in comparison to the quality of food and service we experienced.
I would like to express my positive feedback regarding the cuisine provided at this establishment. The food is truly exceptional and reminds me of the delicious homemade meals I am accustomed to,😜despite the fact that I’m Persian and my favorite food is ghormesabzi. Without a doubt, this place offers some of the finest Mexican cuisine in the city of Los Angeles.
It's a small place with good food. We were able to get a table as soon as we walked in. The service is pretty good. The only straw back of being a small place is that one table got like 3 orders of fajitas and they smoked up the place. But they opened the door so it wasn't too bad. Would definitely go again
I will leave review for every location because I have been to every one. I am in no way being extra and phony when I say. This is the BEST!!! Hispanic food I have ever had in my entire life!!!! Theeeee pork. Is hands down the best ever. As a black American pork, chicken is used in soul food a lot and it is some of my favorite meats. I love soul food! This food gives it a run for its money for sure.
The food and portion sizes are always amazing. We went on a Wednesday night, and got sat almost immediately. It was pretty busy inside, so service was kind of slow. We sat for maybe 15 minutes until the waitress finally brought out chips and took our order. The food came out pretty quickly. Service aside, we love this place.
I haven’t had this since 2019,
I don’t know what I was thinking.
Worth going back twice in one week!! Solid quality Mexican food. Forgot how good this place was. Get over here now! Their bean dip is amazing!
Great restaurant, serving salsa. And beer. Their salsa bar has a wide variety of different types to choose from. The bean queso dip is delicious.
This place exceeded my expectations, the super big size dishes, Omar, a very polite young man, attended us and explained everything about our order...a super family place full of many people...I recommend it and you must be very hungry... .that's a lot of food🫠🫠😋😋😋😋🥑🍅🍺everything you see in the photos cost me $69.00 plus soda.
I had a fantastic experience at this small independently owned Mexican restaurant chain. The sizzling steak fajitas were absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. What sets this place apart is the unlimited salsa bar, offering a variety of delicious options to complement your meal. The exceptional service and friendly staff truly make this place stand out—they go above and beyond to make you feel like family, always attentive and ready to assist with anything you need. It’s a rare gem in today’s restaurant scene where genuine hospitality can be hard to come by. It’s a great spot to bring your family for a tasty Mexican food experience that won’t disappoint!
First they welcome with chips and salsa which is so good!
Heavenly mixture 🍺
Not my favorite salsa and beer just cause it feels a little crammed. The other locations are bigger and better BUT that doesn’t mean that the service or food ever lacks here!!
Been coming here for years, the food and service has always been outstanding. Their bean dip is IMO one of the best I have had. Staff is friendly and attentive, prices are great for the huge portions you get. The only negative things are, the wait times whether you dine in or take out(but the wait is worth it) and parking, which is horrible but still worth waiting or parking on the street.
This is our favorite Mexican place in the valley. Great service and environment, food is delicious and authentic. Hoge portion. The only downside is parking. I parked on the street.
Food was excellent! It had been a while since we'd been here & had forgotten how good it is.
There is one caveat & the reason for 4 stars: they added 4% to the credit card charge for using the card. This was not stated before hand & I had to ask why. I like the food, but not the way they snuck this extra charge into the final bill.
