Had a great time here! Lovely cost pub/brassiere. Excellent food choices all delicious. Amazing hand made potato crisps/chips. Buttermilk chicken sandwich was delightful. Tuna ceviche was well seasoned and delicious. Highly recommend a visit here. Staff very welcoming, attentive A+
Great little restaurant with friendly staff. They have 2 locations. Excellent food. We had the eggs appetizer along with the meatballs and the amazing crispy chicken sandwich and the kale with avocado Caesar salad. Good selection of tequila for sipping in our case.
The Crab Cakes Benedict I ordered was perfectly done, I’ll definitely be back for them again. The breakfast potatoes however were lukewarm and pretty sure had been sitting under a heating lamp for hours. I get that we came in at the tail end of brunch, but still I expect food to taste fresh and be served hot. The Chicken & Waffles was very tasty but oddly the kitchen pours the syrup on the waffle themselves, which does little to preserve their crispness or give the diner a choice of how much syrup to use.
Still we loved the vibe and food choices so we’ll be back to try some of their other offerings. Reasonably priced menu and exceptionally attentive staff is a major win.
Great local place with really good food, huge beer selection and great specialty cocktails.
Modern twist on traditional American fair.
Haven't been here in years and was dying to come back. The chicken sandwich was incredible, the pizza was really good too. My wife got the crab cakes and enjoyed them and my son got the smashburger which he also liked. The drinks were fantastic and the service was pretty solid for how busy they were.
Got the Tuna ceviche, lemon pepper wings with Jalapeño ranch, and The Big Mak. The Tuna ceviche was fresh and the Chips were crunchy but I wish they would've put more lemon & salt. Lemon pepper wings were ok, the celery had more flavor than the wings, definitely could've used waaay more sauce. The burger was good, fresh ingredients but nothing to write home about. The place is nice and big, plenty of tables inside, big bar and tables outside. Prices are a little high I think. They had valet parking or street parking. Prices are ok.
TLP is my favorite local hangout. This place is always so nice to spent time with family or friends. The music background volume is just right so you don’t feel like you’re screaming to each other when hanging out there. Food is always great. Service is phenomenal. Parking is easy they have valet and lots of parking in the street as well. I love the St. Germaine drink. The chips with the cool idea of spraying the vinegar to the chips. Definitely be back again… thanks for always giving the best service to your customer! 5 star for you TLP all day!
Great location. Fantastic beer selection, and a great assortment of food. Some items are incredibly inventive. Vegan options are a huge plus. For how busy this location is, service here is pretty top notch. So, it's easily forgivable when an order or two never came out, or came out incorrectly. Recommend their Kentucky Mule, shrimp and grits, sliders or the chicken sandwich. Ok, maybe two Kentucky Mules.
Great service/servers and food but very somber/indifferent hostess. She didn't make people feel welcome. Show some enthusiasm for your guests. They're spending hard earned money and should feel welcomed 😁
If one is asked to rate "food" relative to other bar-grill businesses, do not the Prices on the menu factor?
The menu tries so hard to be creative and a couple of entries were surprisingly good - it feels like most plates are just a quick/easy twist on something you're actually familiar with. The portions are barely there (fish & crisps Not) but the variety - good.
Back to prices . . . is rent on their block of Ventura Blvd THAT high lately?
I appreciate how conversant and knowledgeable our server was.
It's a good "Hipster Classy" spot for beverages and food.
Pros: Good Ambiance, feels like a "healthy/ organic food spot, beverages are decently priced on the Happy Hour menu.
Cons: portion size is small for happy hour food, and the parking sucks. Ugh.
The happy hour is great, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The food is great, and this place could totally be 5 stars, if they just increased the value a little bit. The pricing is on point, $5, and then $9- $10 for most happy hour food items. I just wish the quantity and sizing was a little bit bigger. The Taste is great, and I just want more of it to make it a true happy hour "value" experience.
5pm during the week is pretty quiet. But this place really comes alive after 6:30 or so.
The space is huge! Love the square bar shape, which leaves plenty of room to mingle around.
One other gripe I have is the parking situation. A lot of these surrounding houses and streets have blocked off parking because of the surge of people going to the Local Peasant. So it's metered street parking, otherwise you're walking quite a bit.
In a perfect world, it would be nice if this place relocated, and got into a place where there was tons of FREE parking, for at least 2 hours, THREE or 4 preferred. Maybe move it to the Village on Topanga and Victory? I mean, it would be LEGENDARY if it was there.
The beers are cold ❤️ and the service is excellent. I really recommend this place! Also, the bartenders are kind of hot. Best price for a beer in happy hours 5$
This is a new favorite restaurant in Woodland Hills! We ended up here by chance after seeing the wait at P.F. Chang's during the Haunt'Oween event, and we are so glad we did! Amazing service, delicious drinks and food. Just be aware that like most smaller restaurants in Woodland Hills, there's valet parking only. Other than that, we absolutely love it and will be back!
I had previously sat on the patio in front but never ventured inside. Pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Much larger than I thought. There's a back room that could be used for private parties or classes. Enjoyed my visit and will return for sure.
Not local. 20 minutes from sitting to ordering to food to eating on a Sunday evening at 7:30pm. Half of the restaurant is busy so that is fast! Parking included or street parking. Dog friendly. Made reservations on our way in. Delicious food. Great wait staff. Thank you!
Went in for some drinks and dinner. Wasn't served where I first sat so I moved and eventually the bartender came over (too busy talking with females). The place wasn't busy but I had to wait over 5 minutes each time between drinks and finally got tired of it and left without trying the food. I thought atmosphere was cool and the food looked good I just wish the service was better at the bar.
Edit: Tried this place again, great service and great appetizers.
Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, a laidback vibe, and great service. I was really impressed with the food! A handful of vegetarian/vegan options! I went with the jackfruit sliders and vegan Mac n cheese. Both were delicious. For dessert we went with the churro cream pie and I would definitely recommend it. Can’t wait to go back.
Very spacious place and nice decoration.
Food is OK. Loved the big potato chips and happy hour cocktails with my friends.
Haven't tried their beers, maybe next time.
Staff is friendly.
