Really good breakfast, superb homemade hot sauce as well... which is for sale ! Had the butternut squash frittata, and shared the blueberry pancakes all of which was perfect. Staff went out of their way to sort us with some sauce to take with us.
Wow, presentation was so beautiful. It was my first time eating flowers too. Very fun & yummy too. I'm impressed
All Around Great!. The food was delicious ~ healthly, fresh with lots of variety. They had coffee drinks and they also made fresh fruit/vegetable juices - you pick the ones you want from a big list!
I had a blueberry muffin. It was so fresh and wonderful. I took a turkey meatball sandwich for lunch and am looking forward to trying the grilled vegetable panini and the "Burrito de Desayuno" and their salads. I guess I'll be going back again and again.
Service is a hot point for me and these people passed with flying colors. They were attentive without being pesty. The server was genuinely impressed with the owners baking and cooking talents and shared what she knows with us. She was accommodating and truly interested in our satisfaction with our menu selections.
Delicious, chubby, fluffy pancakes; even my 8yo loved them! Went a few months ago & Got the pumpkin pancakes with a latte. My son ordered plain pancakes with the berries and syrup on the side. The pumpkin pancakes were so delicious! They were fluffy dense and tasted great. Had a nice glob of soft butter and sugary pecans on top. Definitely recommend them. My son loved the pancakes with syrup and fruits on the side. It's a cute little place with a handful of tables outside and a bunch inside, cute decorations and they also have stickers and candles for sale by the counter. It's located in a tiny Plaza next to the liquor store with a little bit of parking, there's parking in the back. Prices are fair. Staff was pleasant.
Love the barn house feel, the food is great, the servers always have a welcoming smile and pay great attention to the guests. So grateful to have found this place and will keep coming back! They also have long work tables with plugs and wifi😍😍😍. Come here and support this great local business!!
Exceptional service, delectable cuisine, and a cozy atmosphere! The Humble Bee provides a delightful dining experience with a particular focus on freshly prepared meals, a feature that enhances its charm. Being a small enterprise, it earns extra points for its unique character, and I take great pleasure in patronizing such businesses. It stands out as a fantastic choice, especially for those in search of a substantial and satisfying brunch.
We came in for coffee, but the food looked so delicious, we decided to stay for breakfast. We had the English Butty, which comes with a homemade English muffin and was absolutely delicious. We also had the smoked waygu tri-tip corned beef hash and it was so so yummy--the meat was really tender and flavorful, like wow! I think that was a holiday dish, but it was very very good. I'm definitely going to come back and try some of their other dishes, because I know it's all going to taste fantastic. We also had a drip coffee, a Chai latte w/ espresso, and one of their lavender lemonades--the lemonade was super tasty and refreshing. I like the atmosphere for sure, and I definitely recommend this restaurant :)
Edit: I came in for the Eggs Benedict, which was fantastic, and the Tuna melt, which has very fresh bread and homemade chips. We also tried a slice of the carrot cake, and it was perfect! Super light with a hint of citrus. I love this place :)
Excellent food quality and large portions too! Also really liked their drink menu! Really liked my frittata! My friends also liked their eggs Benedict and egg sandwich!
My gf and I have recently moved to the valley. We have eaten at different brunch spots nearly every Sunday. This is so far our top spot. The overall vibe is home-y and the staff is super friendly. The eggs and potatoes au gratin are my fave so far!
After a sad, long absence, I returned to Humble Bee last week with the hopes that it would be just as wonderful as I remember. It totally was!!! Bigger, more comfortable, and with excellent service. And the food.... I got my old favorite, the Panwich ( a glorious concoction of eggs and cheese wrapped in a pancake and topped with mascarpone and spiced apple shreds (I passed on the house-made turkey sausage but my friend enjoyed his!). The perfect blend of savory & sweet, soft & crunchy. My only regret is this incredible dish doesn't photo well!
A place after my own heart. While headed to go see a client I came across this place while googling organic coffee and last time I pigged out on the biscuits and gravy. That dish has SO much love in it. This morning I went all out with fresh OJ, gluten free pancakes and a wonderful organic turkey omelette. I wish there were more cafes just like this. The service, the atmosphere, the food... well done team Humble Bee. Keep it up and I’ll be back whenever I’m in the area again. Awesome start to my day with a perfect meal and welcoming staff.
Wowser, I came here with my brother, this was his find and wowser awesome little spot. It's in a little strip mall and very unassuming , but it's a little diamond in the rough. I had the Panwich which is a big panc stuffed wit sausage egg and lots of great flavor. They had this great little hot sauce which was their own brand and my brother bought me a bottle to take home. The prices are reasonable and like I said the food was great. Try this place and you'll be hooked.
Another hidden gem in the heart of the San Fernando Valley! We love finding these off the beaten path establishments, that know how to serve up some excellence. They have a custom weekend brunch menu that changes every week(pictures), they use wholesome organic ingredients through many local partnerships, and the entire staff is pleasant and eager to share the creations from the kitchen. Pictured below is the simple but tasty biscuits and gravy, with a sunny side egg. The tofu scramble, vegan friendly. And the awesome Panwich, so dee-lish and super filling. Keep your eyes peeled while you are driving on Saticoy Street, because you could drive right past this outstanding cafe, good eats and worth the wait.
I've been meaning to go to this restaurant for a while, and I'm glad I did. My server, Warren, was beyond wonderful. But really, every member of the staff that I interacted with was lovely and made for the perfect breakfast café atmosphere. I ordered the English Butty and it did not disappoint. Be careful, the habanero sauce is quite spicy! I will be recommending this place to my friends and family for sure.
Great lunch/brunch option in the valley. There's plenty parking outside or on the street. 2 Beautiful menus for breakfast and lunch. No breakfast menu time limit. Had a really nice iced latte and their pastries are really good. Kid friendly but also lots of professionals were just there for lunch. Had a really nice black bean omelette and a tofu scramble. Both were delicious. Service is outstanding.
My sister found this little place and chose it for her birthday brunch.. the reviews were good and I'm inclined to agree! The pancakes were fluffy and crisp on the edges, and my bisquits and gravy (while not terribly attractive) was better than I hoped for (they use turkey sausage which is often not fatty enough to be good for BnG but not in this case. I found it quite tasty, but a pork lover might be inclined to disagree). My aunt got the Panwich; sausage and egg wrapped in a pancake, and liked it in spite of a funny taste towards the end of her meal (the pancake tasted a tiny bit overcooked, it really didnt stop her from enjoying the rest of her meal). My uncle got an omelet with sausage and potatos, and was looking forward to the leftovers 😄. The coffee was refilled frequently, and the wait time was minimal (considering it was saturday around lunch). The staff were super attentive and sweet, as well. Parking is a little cramped, check for directions to the parking in rear maybe. All in all, a fantastic place for brunch! Will be back for the eggs Benedict!
My daughter took me here after a Father's Day trip to an auto museum. Parking was tight, but for a late afternoon, more than half full. Seems popular in the neighborhood. She had the apricot French toast with a side of bacon, and I had the English Butty muffin sandwich. We enjoyed both. Service good
A hidden jewel, a great place to enjoy an excellent breakfast made only using local and organic ingredients (you can really tell the difference). Amazing service, everyone is very nice and friendly, they make you feel like home from the very first moment!
