Hey Vegans and Dairy Free folks, there are at least 2 dairy free options on the menu on any day. And I am not talking about sherbet, I am talking incredible flavors like peanut butter brittle caramel fudge or freckled mint chocolate chip, or the holiday seasonal flavor chocolate sugar, cookie dough. and don’t forget you can taste 2 to 3 flavors before you actually order. And the homemade waffle cones are to die for. The entire experience of visiting this place is so nice.

Ok so I like ice cream. In my books, ice cream is one of the main food groups. but this place takes that concept to the next level. They have a variety of never before conceived of ice cream flavors or flavor combos that probably should not be an ice cream but somehow work. We enjoy going there, standing in the small ice cream parlor atmosphere, trying different flavors and then walking the boulevard with our cup of amazing creamy goodness, talking about what we chose and why it's good and what we might try next time.

High Quality Ice-Cream, Friendly Staff, A Seasonal Flavor Selection keeping things new, the line moves quick - it's truly hard to beat. Location Challenge: - Parking - One small outdoor table (Perhaps enjoy an ice-cream stroll)

Pretty good ice cream with some unique flavors. I tried two of the fall flavors - the pumpkin tiramisu & the Beecher cheese apple pie cinnamon roll. Both were tasty. My friend did find a hair in her ice cream, though..

To say I’ve been waiting months to go to Salt & Straw is no joke. Back at home, we used to ship their monthly flavors out to us because of how good it was. My sister and I finally got out to try it in person and 🤤🤯❤️ I got the Cornflake Cookies w/ Marionberry Jam flavor and my sister got the Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. The staff was super nice and the flavors were to die for. I absolutely cannot wait to go back again and try a new flavor!

This was my first time to Salt & Straw. I am visiting from NY. Going to S&S was on my list of places I needed to get to in LA. The selection of ice cream flavors is plentiful but not overwhelming. I chose flavors from the Thanksgiving seasonal menu. Two scoops, one salted caramel turkey and one spiced goat cheese pumpkin pie in a waffle cone. They make the waffle cones there. The whole shop smells amazing. Both flavors were great. Not too sweet at all. Great flavor and creamy texture. Very generous portion size. Salt & Straw is first rate ice cream. This is a small indoor place. It has no seating inside but has one bench outside. I went at a time when it was not busy. I got a street parking spot right out front. The people who were working were so patient and nice. Offering samples of any flavors you'd like to try. Salt & Straw is all around superb.

You think you know ice cream? Try Salt & Straw's birthday cake flavor, and then we'll talk. It's not just a flavor; it's a statement, a game-changer available only in July. I got my hands on three pints, and I'm not sharing. Why? Because it's not just ice cream; it's a masterpiece that sets a new standard, something I'd expect only from a brand as innovative as Salt & Straw. Others may settle for ordinary, but when next July comes around, you'll find me at the front of the line, ready to experience that extraordinary taste again. If you have a penchant for excellence, I highly recommend you join me. Anything else is just playing in the minor leagues.

This was my first time ever trying this place out (have always wanted to do so). The young lad who helped me was polite, prompt, and a delight. The Marion berry shake was super delicious too, reminded me of picking & consuming fresh berries while in Oregon/Washington.
