Our go-to breakfast spot in Sherman Oaks for the family and any out of town guests. Dependably good service, although there can be a wait on weekend mornings. But the food and staff are worth it. Limited parking, so we usually walk!

I absolutely love this place! Everybody is always so kind they're very attentive and what I love the most is that they remember what I always get every time I go there!! I would recommend this place to anyone it is really good!!
We had a great brunch Sunday morning at Jinky’s Cafe. Their menu was extensive so it was hard to decide what to order. My crunchy French toast was amazing! My husband had a delicious smoothie. Our boys and their friends had delicious scrambles with a vareity of fresh ingredients. They set three pots of coffee on our table so that we could serve ourselves along with a pitcher of almond milk which our son requested. This cafe is a good choice for a nice breakfast or lunch.

We have been customers of Jinky's since 1995. And while I no longer live in the area, it still is my favorite breakfast destination whenever I am in LA. Even though everything on the menu is great, I always order the Santa Fe Scramble!! And they offer gluten-free alternatives.

Well gave it a try didn't really enjoy my breakfast, thought it would be more special for some reason. They have Gourmet Chili and I think that would be wonderful to try. Seems to be better at Lunch and Dinner, people next to me had lunch and it looked delicious gonna have to try again.
Great Food. Our LA adventure continues with yet another great breakfast. 4 of us enjoyed Belgian Waffles & Fruit, Ham & Cheese Omelette, Veggie Chicken Omelette with Avocado. Coffee and Atmosphere were excellent. Wait Staff was on top of their game. Recommend highly!!! Prices average.
Jinky's is now added to my top 10 list of favorite breakfast place. Great options, great food, & great service.

Another delicious brunch at Jinkys. The eggs in my Classic Benedict we're poached to perfection. The sauce was delicate and flavorful, and the bacon was thick and delicious. My side was crispy potato(which delivered!). A full pot of coffee on the table and friendly service to top it off.
The food was good (I had the Flaky French Toast with bananas and strawberries), but the service is really what earned the 5 stars. Our server, Jesus, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He came by multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. It was nice to start our day with such a friendly welcome. Eduardo (Eddy) also came by and he was friendly and helpful.
What Jinky's again? Weren't we just there like 3 days ago? Well, I think another round of pancakes and that bacon would hit the spot. Good thing it's only 11am cuz you guys close too early.
You should do a late night breakfast thing. That would rock. A huge hot chocolate fountain in the main room with waterfalls of Bailey's Irish or Kailua on the side. And you could get rid of day old donuts, too. Damn, now I'm hungry.

Awesome veggie and vegan options. You can pretty much customize things exactly as you want and I LOVE that. The staff is super friendly, checking in only when needed and always smiling and attentive.
My egg white omelette was super good! Every flavor I wanted and it came out super fast on a Sunday. Perfect visit.
ordered chicken and waffles actually not bad..it was good..nobody likes undercook fried chicken right? instead they used bite sizes!
I love Jinky's Sherman Oaks! Been going there for 20 years now, we always sit outside to enjoy their nice atmosphere in the Socal sun. Food is great, coffee is awesome, and the service is always super friendly!
Great place. Fun atmosphere. Lactose-free coffee creamer. Had the 2x2 with pumpkin pancakes. Delicious.
This is a great place to have a nice meal with friends and / or family or just yourself. Definitely will come back.

Had to comment. They need a host or something lol it was like 2 servers and a busser but they did great and give a nice warm welcome.
Anyways, I loved the freshness of the food.
I was loving how the food was coming out nice and clean in presentation. I got a burger so I can tell the meat wasn't it's highest quality (but I'm comparing it to a steakhouse) yet it was well cooked! Great job to the cooks.
The mango chutney burger was soo good and I highly recommend it. I had it with a salad 🥗 😋
And then I order a pumpkin pancake. Yum! So soft yet had the thin crispy layer on top. Literally a pan cake.

Jinky's breakfast this morning was excellent 👌🏾The tater tots were perfect: crispy crunchy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. I had two eggs scrambled with American cheese. I had it with bacon which was so good: crispy, large slices, not too salty, felt like I was eating a cracker. The sourdough toast with grape jelly was crazy good and I'm not exaggerating. The only thing I could complain about is the coffee but maybe I've been drinking Starbucks for too long and forgot what a good old fashioned cup of A+ diner coffee is all about. I drank the whole little pitcher they bring it to you in (about 3 cups). Servers were attentive and friendly. I sat outside at a table that was a little cramped but completely adequate. I would have preferred a few dollars less in terms of cost for a basic breakfast but hey, people need to make a living amid lockdowns and masks and viruses, ... so no worries. It was worth the cost. I can't speak to the rest of the menu but breakfast at Jinky's was the way to go. I'll be going back. Check it out next time you wake up hungry. 😋
