We ordered a regular size Matcha shake, and a mini coffee one. Both were great.
We also ordered the double burger, and a chicken sandwich and basket of 50/50 fries. We thought the burger was just kind of average, and wouldn’t go out of our way to get it again, but the chicken sandwich was really good. Definitely the best plant based chicken we’ve had. The fries were fine and just kind of okay, didn’t finish them. Overall glad we went.
An absolute essential for the American vegan pilgrimage. Any vegan visiting Los Angeles has Monty's on their wishlist and everything was worth the wait. I recommend going with friends to share sides and a milkshake because in my excitement I ordered the single cheeseburger, 50/50 fries and tots, and the matcha latte shake and was full beyond belief with plenty still on my plate. The house spread sauce tastes good on everything. Such a gem and they have the best merchandise, too!
The first time I tried the vegan burger place, it would say I liked it and was pretty impressed with the taste in general.
Parking: limited and meter parking in the front.
Customer service/cashier who took order: 4/5.
Foods: 4.8/5
Dine-in area: not much but there are some since it's a fast, quick-and-go type of place.
Def has to try for once, and I might come back!
So far the best Vegan food experience I've had in LA. Good armosphere, affordable prices, tasty food. A must try!
I don't recommend eating in though, if you're not in the mood/ state for Very loud (rock)music.
This vegan hamburger spot is leggggggitt. Really good tater tots as well as French fries. The kale salad is quite tasty as well.
Haven't had any of their desserts but the burger, tots and fries are delish!
Love the impossible patties, taste like a hamburger but better for the environment.
Outstanding!! The only place in town that does a mean vegan deep fried chicken sando. Oh my Lord. Its. So. Crispy. Delicious. I have to save myself from going here too much, because it's super comfort foody and deep fried amazing. My only critique is that it's expensive. 100% would recommend though.
One of the best vegan burger I ever had.
I absolutely loved the food. The place was crowded, but the service was fast, and the employees were attentive and helpful. They use the Impossible patty, which was prepared deliciously. I think the pickles are a unique flavor, and that might throw people off. My husband is going to order it without pickles next time, but I liked everything just the way it was.
Great little diner style vegan burger spot. I ate here two nights in a row while in town. The lady who helped me even remembered my name the second night, and was extremely helpful in getting me my perfect combo when I was indecisive.
Monty burgers was okay the flavors was good but can do better
Awesome food and I like the old time burger stand feel of the place. I'm not a vegan but I'll say the place can fool you into thinking you're eating a regular burger. Will be definitely eating here again.

Loved this little spot! Went during Covid and the line wasn’t too long got a double cheeseburger and shake and they were both delicious! I love that they are soy based milkshakes as my boyfriend is allergic to nuts! Definitely check this place out!
Excellent plant-based burgers served with the option of tater tots, fries or kale Cesar salad. I love that their dessert menu; the cookie shake, the sparkling dodger berry lemonade and the Middle of Brownie cookie are sooooo tasty!!!! Their menu is 100% plant based. + its awesome to know they sensibly source their ingredients & use only compostable serving products.
Dzzaaaannnggg! Ok the hype is real for a reason. Don’t be scared of the line if you see it, the staff inside works really fast to get you food to stuff your face.
I like food, a lot, and from my experience eating, this place is the one! Many people compare it to the vegan in n out, ok I can see that. My meat eating friends loved it and wanted to keep coming back to this place in the span of 2 days!!!
They have some special fried I keep forgetting what the name is but they are bomb! Maxed out, maybe it’s that. The tots are amazing and freshly fried same as the fries!
Get one of each, just do it!
First of all, they melt their cheese on the grill, so their special fries, the max out(first pic), is already leagues above in n outs.
Secondly, the vibe is right. The music selection is 🔥🔥🔥. The staff is on point, real friendly people and definitely left me with a positive impression leaving.
Now, it is pricy. If you wanna enjoy yourself your spending a quick 20 off top. But I will say the food was so good i forgot how much i spent in the first place.
So far I’ve tried multiple impossible burgers, of which none, have been as well put together as this one. The bun not being greasy gives it some texture as it’s still real soft. They use a different kind of pickle, I’m not too sure but it’s pretty refreshing and sweet. The house sauce is thousand island, pretty basic there. I do wish they had like a real special, special sauce but hey. The tots were fried with an angels touch and they give you a refill so, kindve hard not to come back. I’m bout to try everything.
Amazing vegan fast food. I ordered the vegan "chicken" sandwich and it was one of the best I've ever had. I also really enjoyed the strawberry milkshake. I ordered take out and it was ready quickly.
