Uncle Bernie's Deli - Los Angeles - Photo album

A few months ago Uncle Bernie’s didn’t have good reviews, I decided not to visit then but I was in the area and double checked the reviews, I am glad I gave them a try! First off, sooo clever of them to use old bagels for bagel chips and butter. Of course, you need the pickles….. The matzo ball soup
We have eaten at Uncle Bernie's delicatessen restaurant many times and have never left hungry. This is our favorite New York style deli in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. The prices are fair, the food is great and the portions are large. I usually have the open faced Pastrami and Chopped li.ve
A good friend suggested that we try Uncle Bernie's Delicatessen in Encino. It's located on Ventura Boulevard just west of White Oak. We arrived at 11;30 and tables were available. The interior is quite nice with plenty of light. Tables are not too close together which is great. Beautiful ceiling tha
Loved the chicken and rice soup. Was tickled that my half gluten free tuna sammie 1) came with lettuce and tomato, and 2) came as a full sandwich since GF bread is smaller (ugh!) than regular bread. Hubs enjoyed his sausage and mushroom omelette. It was loaded with fillings.
A great local deli with good food and friendly servers. The only negative is the parking situation. The parking lot is small for the amount of stores. Finding a parking spot can be rough at times. However, it is worth it!
Uncle Bernie's was fabulous! My french fries were some of the best ever – and I loved the brisket dip. It's always a nice place to eat.
I love this place! It’s everything you expect from a Jewish deli! 5 Stars!
The food and the atmosphere both bring so much comfort. I can't say that about a lot of places nowadays. Don't ever change Uncle Bernie's Deli. We need places like you to feed our souls.
I have been at this location before, this is my second time.....we arrived before the afternoon rush and the place was empty...all the servers were sitting and waiting for dinners. The food was good, very generous sizes, prices were reasonable....however all the servers were on their cellphone on s
Stopped by because I was killing time in the area. Server recommend a few things but the pastrami on rye stood out. Love that they use a vinegar based coleslaw as well. Good food and pleasant service. This deli will be around a while.
